Bike going too fast.. It's scary being a passenger with any Thai driver, when I'm a passenger in my (Thai) wife's Car I see the Car in front Brake lights come on, for the next 3 or 4 Seconds my Mrs still has her foot on the Gas pedal until I shout BRAKE, yes she's watching the road & her sight is normal under other conditions, it just seems their Brain does'nt register quick enough as seen in this accident...

It depends on if the driver or the police are still wearing face masks.

How do you deal with soi dogs ?
actonion replied to TheFatOne's topic in Plants, Pets & Vets in Thailand
In my experience with Thai's and Dogs, a Thai will go out of his way on his Motorbike to run the Dog over, its mostly Thai people who put the Dogs on the Streets in the first place, once they cease to be small, and cuddly, expensive to feed they're thrown onto the streets, or to make themselves feel better, they put the dogs at the temple -

I use the Car horn regularly , mostly at Bikes with Thai's riding, either looking at something, but not the road, or they're using their Telephone, a small Toot just to let them know i'm there, saves me getting involved in an accident with some of them

6 Thai men arrested for attacking 2 foreigners during Songkran
actonion replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
No doubt the police believe that too -
The Beach side of Pattaya Beach Rd used to have many Concrete Benches under Trees, I read somewhere the reason they were both taken away was because they installed tall Flood Lights, so say, for the safety of Tourists, and the Tree's were in the way, the Benches were taken away to stop the ladies of the night sitting there... both reasons were a waste of time, and money , Tourists still get problems from pick pockets there, and the Ladies still sit

Now Tourist Authority of Thailand should be asking Pattaya Police, " Does this make the Tourists feel safe" -
With the noise these Bars in Pattaya generate, extra loud music coming from several different Bars and you lot worry about noise from a video phone
