If they are serious with this it will probably shut down the whole construction, fishery and chicken farm (and many other as well) sector of Thailand.

I drive average 40.000 km per year in Thailand and I have noticed since the coup there are less police shake downs on the roads, so maybe a slight improvement (or I have just been lucky the last couple of years).
