Actually, we have all been concerned at the prospect of the Burmese kids "committing suicide", but would't banana man's suicide with a note expressing his remorse at framing them be rather convenient right now? China will lend them money with their new "Asian bank" for the railway system. If the import taxes and VAT are to high, it does not make it very interesting to invest here. Even Laos got a better system for investors, there you can own your business 100% if you invest 100.000 US$ and import duties for all material and machinery you need for your business is only 1% and no silly rules for work permits like in Thailand.
