I am sure Makro has Schweppes Bitter Lemon. Does it taste different here then in Australia?

Big C has some selection of western food under their house brand "Casino", which is of acceptable quality and price. Also "Tesco" branded Western food is quite acceptable.
veggies and fruits we do buy at local farmers market. Meats etc. Mostly at Makro. Villa Market, Foodland and Tops are simply too expensive for regular use, but sometimes necessary for special stuff.

I will look up definitions for democracy shortly. But my opinion on it is that indeed it is often misunderstood.
Fundamentally democracy means to me a freely and democratically elected government. But there are conditions attached to it. A proper system of Checks and Balances, transparent, upholding of the Constitution, care for minority rights etc.
The democratic election seems to be the easiest to achieve, what comes after that is the hard part.

I am all for fair wages. We pay our workers much more the 300 per day and they do work hard for it.
Wage and minimum wage increases should be annually in a percentage rate that reflects reality. So 3 to 5% I would imagine.

I am sure some kind of self censorship is needed. Difficult part is to decide where the borders are. Western standards cannot be applied. Well even Western standards differ from country to country. Nudity OK or not? Brutality OK or not?
I would believe this is for the Thai society to decide.
This should not be purely based on Majority opinions. If it disturbs many locals, which I doubt by the way mini skirts do, it should not been shown.
Some older Thais may have a hard time understanding that moral standards have changed.
I think the PM should have other priorities right now.
How about truly equal rights for women, in constitution and law?

It was replaced by a beer Gesetz in 1993, wich is a result of European intervention and allows for more ingredients. Anyway, reputable German brewers still advertise following the old purity law.
The purity law (Reinheitsgebot) was repealed in 1987.My vote goes to Germany for high density of great beers and the purity law.
Rice has nothing to do in beer, is however used in Bud and I believe Corona etc. Just my opinion.

Here we go again. Why should Thais pay the same as farangs? It's their island. There should be a fee for farangs and no fee for Thais.

IKEA has actually a page where you can do the whole plan online. As for you unfinished project you should be able to find somebody to remove it for free. Can you perhaps post a picture and advise where it is?

Firstly to me budweiser (US version) is not really a beer. It's made with rice!
Best beers are generally Czech, German and Belgian, Also great are some British and Irish.
I hate flavored Micro brew things.
Many countries produce a couple good beers.
To argue that bud must be best, based on sales is not correct. Not always the best selling is qualitatively the best product. Sales are determined by many factors besides quality, like price, availability etc. To stay with beverages, what is the best wine, whiskey or Cognac? Certainly not the ones that sell most.
Again question was which country. My vote goes to Germany for high density of great beers and the purity law.

Very easy process. Just tell her let's go and try.OP: The Thai Passport office would have zero interest in your GF's financial affairs or the status of her son if she departs Thailand without him. Could be she has an issue with Thai police / Court who have requested Immigration to put a stop on her passport until she clears her debts. However, if you are that concerned go with her to the Passport Office in BKK; costs 1000 baht for a passport to be issued. Document requirements:
Location:
Passport Bangna-Srinakarin office
Thanya Park, Zone E, second floor.
8am-3:30pm
Airport Link Huamark

Can anybody snap? I think yes. This not only goes for pilots, but as well for anybody else entrusted with many human lives. Be it a bus driver, a train driver etc. The best and most thorough psychological exam can only ensure that it is not likely. The possibility however remains.
Perhaps the door locks should have a possibility to be overridden from headquarters via satellite and planes should have an emergency communication line outside the cockpit?
Anyway tragic accident, prayers to the families of the victims.

Try AA via Hkg and Dallas, about 2.6k.

Difficult with a short history. My vote would go to Thomas Alva Edison.
I would also expect someone to vote for Hugh Marston Hefner.

You use this adapter to obtain ground from a grounded Thai outlet. It will then fit your outlet shown in photo and if outlet is grounded provide a path to ground. You might want to invest in a Safe-t-cut or other brand RCCD to cut power before it can become serious. Well worth the small cost involved as too many things are subject to potential issues without.
Completely right. Alternatively change the plug to three prone Thai.
