    There is NOTHING in Thai culture about not offering a drink on Buddha days. Types like you who are are wannabe Thais (but don't understand Thais) that give Farangs a bad name.

    No, YOU have the problem for believing that it is 'right' to prevent the sale of alcohol during a 3 hour afternoon window. An ill thought out and absolutely pointless law. It is not about drinking, it is about having the right to buy something without prohibition.

    The number of rejections suggest otherwise. It is not hard if you understand the criteria and how to present the necessary information (and more) in the right way. It is a fact that there is a much higher level of scrutiny (and rejection) with Thai females compared to other nationalities.
