  1. I agree. In a different situation (providing a deposit for my daughter's house purchase) I told the broker/lender that I could not provide statements unless I registered as a financial adviser - and that would be a FAF. Eventually, they accepted a copy of the bond record .
  2. I am grateful for your detailed response. Obviously. I am looking for the simplest route to providing 'evidence of funds'. This is item 4 from the MOFA website:- "Financial evidence: amount of no less than 500,000 THB, e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter". IMO, if a PSB summary is acceptable to, say, UKVI then there is no reason why it should not be acceptable to MOFA...................I fully accept that acceptance, or otherwise, will be at the behest of the approver. You may wish to review your comment about no statements being available. How to get NS&I-branded statements online Firstly, you need to register for our adviser online service. This will give you easier and faster access to information on your clients’ NS&I holdings, so is worth doing anyway, but it’ll also give you access to NS&I-branded statements. https://www.nsandi-adviser.com/helping-us-help-you-nsi-branded-statement-requests
  3. I didn't suggest that they were a bank statemen.....BUT, they are evidence of funds (I have used the Bond Summary as evidence for UK visas and also a house purchase deposit). Statements ARE available but you have to go through the FAF of registering as an agent? (i think).
  4. No wonder you can't park nearby!
  5. +1 .......it is the only thing in your list that is damaging.......but see the endocrinologist.
  6. 2.5 million visitors may disagree. I have been to Cambodia over 30 times and most of those visits have included Siem Reap. I have visited the temples perhaps a dozen times and it is always a pleasant experience. I would agree that after 2/3 visits you have seen as much as you need to see - and unless you are a temple addict the short circuit is sufficient. The increase in entry fee from $20 to $37 is also a deterrent.
  7. Entirely my point........my hope is that they won't do the same to Siem Reap. I am fairly confident that they won't because SR is more international.
  8. Thank you. I presume that they would also accept a Premium Bond 'statement'.
  9. You might be confusing reading and comprehension............................
  10. Vietnam is 45 days visa exempt, 30 days for Phu Quoc (for me).
  11. No, you are good - I got it from your earlier post, thank you. Ties in nicely as confirmation of what @DrJack54
  12. Hun Sen certainly seems to have gone all in with the Chinese... I am fairly confident they won't screw it up like Sihanoukeville.
