Maybe the OP wasn't ready to leave Canada. People think they are, but then they just whine about the things that aren't as good as 'back home'. The roads have significantly improved in Thailand in the 17 years that I have been here. Many are still badly planned (if they are planned at all), poorly constructed and badly maintained - They are what they are.

Got to be Luton (although I agree with your sentiment). This could be the year when the 3 promoted teams go back down. It just depends whether Bournemouth or Everton perform worse than Burnley.

It's not unreliable, I have been doing it online for over 3 years. Even if I lived next door to the Immigration office I would avoid going in the other than the mandatory once a year. Enjoy your "self-flagellation".

That chip on your shoulder weighs heavily. The act of standing has no other significance than a mark of respect - which if you did understand Thai culture would realise that it has no place for envy or bitterness towards the elite. That is a western concept introduced by jealous, anti-establishment people.
