  1. It's getting better day by day and why bother about the 'free zones'?

There are 3 100 meter free zones along Jomtien Beach Road and just a hand full of beach goers can be found there.

The army and the police should make an inventory of real issues in Pattaya and create a plan of approach instead of this useless and annoying drills.

I'd never thought I would say this, but I left Patters 3 months ago and i don't miss it for a single day.

  2. As with other condo annex hotel projects.......

Hotel facilities such as pool, fitness, sauna and steamroom which are originally meant for hotel guests can be used by the condo-owners.

Now the condo owners are complaining that Chinese tourists are using "their" common grounds incl. pool and other facilities?

Please bear in mind, dear condo-owners, that it's probably the same chinese that keep the real-estate market in Pattaya upright.

I believe the nightlife entertainment places are hit with much larger amounts (or else) for infractions, although I would be surprised if it happened to the ones that are police owned. As we are already a week into October, the notice seems late.

A late notice is quite common. In a lot of cases there's a raid and one of the documents handed over after receiving a substantial bribe is the "notice"........"Didn't you get this?"

  4. Not very long ,I was preparing my leave from Los, I did have a few coins.

Tried 3 7/11's and finally a bank along Jomtien Beach Road.

I didn't have an account there........"Misterrrr, can not...go to 'seven' na"

After I explained that 'seven' wouldn't take them they accepted them.

"Only this time na, Misterrrr. Next time pay fee na"

My advise, go to a bigger bank (preferably where you have an account) and if they say: "No have machine, they're freakin' lying!!"

It seems the only place in Thailand where people have no common sense for respecting the royal family is Pattaya.

Even in Pattaya the Thai Royal Family is well respected (I guess), but the point is that October 2017 seems to be another month of mourning and NOBODY seems to able to say what it implies. THAT causes confusion, irritation, loss of money and yes finally....people loose respect for the cause of the mourning period.

The only very vague thing that is actually mentioned is: "tone down"...........

I've kinda withheld an opinion on the Junta, but. this is FAILURE.

I worked 18 months or so for a Thai company as a consultant/trainer, and NO MATTER WHAT I SAID, the workers would just grin at me and do it however they wanted to do the work.

It was probably the most unfulfilling job I ever had.

Suppose I has delusions of grandeur, in that I figured I could turn them into a highly efficient, productive crew...NOPE.

I quit, as I could not figure out what purpose I was serving, other than to present a Farang face to the customer on occasion.

Can copy that........"We have done this for many years and there was never a problem. So why change now?"

Not only unfullfilling, but very frustrating as well.

Not only a Thai things btw, in most underdeveloped countries it's all the same.

So ,I suppose the Police can take the rest of the year off, they must be very

tired working 18 days in a row.let crime build up for a few months, then have

    another crackdown.

    regards worgeordie

First the police takes their share of the revenues during 347 days per year and then they clean up their own sha_it (no typo)

  8. I know there's a pretty good doctor on Neun Pleb Waan in between the railway-track and Sukhumvit.

    From Sukhumvit on the right

From the railway-track on the left.
