In-Depth: Who is Srettha Thavisin, Thai Prime Minister Candidate
So how is this different from when American Presidential candidates have to go bow down in front of the Wall St. Lords and profess, "Nothing will fundamentally change" before every election. You thought there were too many condos before, wait til this guy gets his hands on the reigns.

Taco Bell opening new location in #Jomtien next week
Not on the baht bus line. Forget it. Easier to get to the Pattaya location. Hardly worth the effort as it is for reasons already stated.

Has the Dumbing-down of British TV Become a Blight Upon the World? (Slow Decline Beginning c.1976?)
Corporate control of all Western media for 40 or 50 years has resulted in the dumbing down of the cultures. Especially evident in this century with the express intent of making a world full of ignorant wage slaves. Pravda and Izvetsia could only dream of such total control of the populace.

General Prawit may emerge next week to clinch Prime Minister’s job due to a polarised parliament
Should be good for the dollar, anyways. Sorry it has to come at the people's expense. So much for Toxin crossing the Rubicon, too. That would be a death wish if Fatty wins.

NIDA poll shows that political conflict is still on the horizon as US envoy denies interference
The US has 800 military bases around the world. They meddle EVERYWHERE!! To think otherwise is just plain naive. What are US interests in this election? Which party will be more favorable to the US and not China?

NIDA poll shows that political conflict is still on the horizon as US envoy denies interference
I am shocked-shocked-to find U.S. meddling in foreign elections. Round up the usual suspects.

Baht falls to 7-month low as unease grows over chances of Pita Limjaroenrat being elected as PM
Apart from Covid, this election is THE major event of the last 8+ years since the last coup. You can't just pooh pooh this off as a minor annoyance. There will be a lot of eyes on Thailand next month to see if they can deliver a peaceful transfer of power. The exchange rate is like the Vegas odds. Sentiment is driving this. Who knows which way it will go.
