  1. ResMed AirSense 10 Auto set. Only used about 8 times, bought from Aliz Sleepcare new early August. Comes with 2 pillow masks.
  2. Yes, I expect to drop the advertised price as per normal, all offers considered.
  3. Been on Baht Sold for about a month and no takers. Paid 53,000 baht and been used about 8 times. I just don't like it.
  4. Thanks.
  5. I am trying to sell a near new CPAP machine in Surin with no luck. I am spending the school holidays in Pattaya and was wondering if there are any Cash Converters type shops around town. If so, where. It is advertised on the usual places like Baht Sold and Facebook Marketplace with no luck.
  6. Maybe your part of Surin but here in Surin about 15 klms east of Robinson we are inundated with water, the dams are full as are the rice fields and there is some minor flooding. The farmers are pumpimg water out of their fields. Amazing what a distance or about 70 ks can do, but then you are closer to mountains than us.
  7. The aged pension is means tested so they take into account all your assets. Some assets like you own home are exempt but cash in the bank is not.
  8. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure the OP could lose his Centrelink pension by moving to Thailand. There are some grey areas in relation to this happening and, as I said, I may be wrong. In Australia the aged pension is different to those in most other countries.
  9. I have used this mask for 2 nights and hated it, the shop gave me one on loan, they also loaned me a mouth and nose mask and I hated it too. I slept last night without the device and had a pretty good sleep. I quickly went in to mouth breathing mode though as I didn't use the mouth tape. I'll try the tape tonight after doing a bit of research on the net today. It's going to take a lot of convincing for me to use the device again though. Now I just have to work out what to do with it.
  10. Thanks for your advice my friend and I understand where you're coming from, I'll not use it for a couple of nights and see what happens. I really don't think it could be worse than the night I had last night, I must have had a mask leak as I woke several times with air rushing everywhere. I have tried all the other masks, nasal, nasal and mouth and hated them, I'm using a lightweight thing that just fits over your nostrils and I find it uncomfortable, my other option is to buy the pillows and give them a go but they are expensive here. I'm not even sure I have apneas, I think I just need to solve my mouth breathing at night.
  11. I'm selling my near new ResMed Auto Sense 10 as I don't like using it.
  12. Unfortunately, I'm full time living here mate. Thanks for the advice though. I have bought a CPAP machine and am currently working out how to successfully use it, which may take a while.
  13. Oh, how I miss the old Pattaya, no riff raff, no problems, everybody happy, beautiful women chasing you, lots of small open air bars, the list goes on.
  14. I wondered why the shelves were near empty when I went to buy my milk here is Surin.
  15. Have you seen how many Mitsubishi Expandas and pickups are out there? Up here in Issan there are a lot.
  16. Yes, thanks, I knew that but when and where? I live in lower Issan.
  17. I'm in the market for a second car and I want a pickup. How does one buy a repossessed car? I assume the Banks auction them but where?
  18. I have been using the Privileged Member name for the last 9 years without a ploblem in Thailand.
  19. Did a border run to Chong Chom today and it was open, I understand it is open every day. There was a lot of trucks going in and an Ambulance waiting to pick up a Cambodian to rush then to the local Surin hospital.
  20. I'll try the phone recorder tonight, thanks.
  21. Thanks for the detailed reply @xtrnuno41 I will take on board your thoughts. I must add that my mouth is not taped completely closed and I can easily open my mouth if needed, the tape is a strip of 3M white non porous tape placed horizontally over a section of my mouth.
  22. Not overweight, fit for my age, exercise every day for all my life, eat healthy and not late, live a quiet rural life in a small village and I'm 68. I fall asleep very easily but constantly wake up every 30 minutes or so and fall back asleep quickly.
  23. I believe that I have a form of sleeping disorder, I saw a Doctor in Oz about 2 years ago who told me that I had one and referred me to a specialist. I didn't follow through with the specialist as I researched my problem and worked out I was mouth breathing when sleeping. I adopted the simple solution of taping my mouth shut in order to nose breath, I came across this solution by Googling my problem. It seemed to work most of the time, however, lately I am waking up feeling like I have a hangover. This morning I felt terrible with a slight headache even though I used the tape. I gave up drinking about 4 weeks ago hoping it would improve my general health and well being but it has had no effect really. The correct method of breathing is in with the nose and out with the mouth but I do either in and out with the mouth or the same with the nose, one or the other. I flush my nose out each evening to ensure I have a clear passage, if I don't use the tape and mouth breathe all night I wake up with a similar feeling and a very dry mouth. There are no specialist sleeping clinics where I live. Anyone else suffer from this or have any thoughts on it?
  24. I have that one, maybe I'm getting confused, I'll go and see them at Immigration. Thanks.
