everybody knows that companies in thailand practice the OT wich means doing hours extra that a person can not refuse to make.

secound the salary is always far under the rest of the world

third they normally have only a day off many times none.

thourth they usually never get holydays or paid holydays.

fifth even wearing a mask a lot are in contact with quimical staff and one day they will get sick.

to finished we all know that here some labour conditions are one of the worst in the world , they dont need to process a person for saying that.

shame on people who practice those medieval labour conditions, and the society to realize whats happening need people to show and name them through documentary or whatever.

when somebody is wrong the truth is always hard to recognize so here in thailand they invented the naming and shaming.......but he will win and i hope the buyer from abroad will defenitly stop to make business with this company too.

if bar girls and sex night life shop and clubs are going to be eradicate then there will be no more reason to go to pattaya anymore.

for sure the price of the condominium is going to be more atractive now, but i wont buy one

As there are many expats living here with most likely a previous marriage in their homecountry, or have been married/divorced with a thai woman, how do/did you view your divorce......a failure or a blessing, at the time and now ?

my opinion is:

- go to the thai ambassy of your country and ask them personaly what you need or go to the immigration office in bangkok and they will tell you exactly depending of your situation what you have to do and how.

trust me the best you can do to learn and to do it right, is doing it yourself with the inconvenient at the bigining of the thai language, yes...., but you want to come here right? so you have to go trough this!....the rest is bla bla bla!

An idea which often floats around in my mind, when thinking about living in Thailand long term, is to invest in land and farm it.

1) you are not allowed to buy land in thailand.

2) without a work permit u can not work, and farming is not for us.

3) as an investment today this idea cant be worse....to me of course!

4) if you do , do everything legaly and be carefull of all the crabs who are going to tell you, there is no probleme here and there and that you can do it this way or that way.....you could regret it one day and loose quiet a lot of money too.

5) living here long term and get a long term visa, wich one ?????? i dont know this one!

so relax ....have some and think about all this before you put some money here.

The Northern line, Bangkok to Changmai, was built in 1891/2 in standard guage. In 1919 politicians interfered and it was decided that all future tracks would only be 1 metre guage. Meanwhile in the UK in 1938, the Mallard 4468 Steam Engine broke the World Speed record at 201.6km/h on standard guage tracks. UK trains have largely been operating safely at that maximum speed ever since. In Thailand they refer to 200km/h as high speed, however the definition of high speed trains are trains operating in excess of 250km/h. Now the politicians want to interfere again and reduce the train speeds from 200km/h to only 160km/h when they should be operating at 250km/h. The only reason I see for this, is the competition between high speed trains and domestic air travel. They do not want trains that can travel from Bangkok to Changmai in 2 1/2hrs when the total time it takes by air, including check-in, is much the same. By capping the train speed to 160km/h max, the train will take 4hrs to Changmai.

Similarly the politicians propose the bullet train from China via Nongkai to bypass Bangkok and go directly to Laemchabang and beyond. Again this will protect airlines flying from Bangkok to the North East.

thats all i wanted to know....as usual the prohibition comes when the tax revenue is under the cost of the effect of the product sold ......exactly like for tobaco.

so now that we can not smoke and we can not drink anymore ,when is going to be prohibited all the garbages food sold all over thailand and the world to everybody mostly to the poor,,,,,because if alcool kill , mac donald and similar, palm oil , all cheap drinks made with sugar and aditives only .......etc etc ....are making the population so obese that allready the health department in thailand told many times the authority that all these consumers will have serious health problem terminating in an hospital one day or another.

my question and my critic is :

why instead all these prohibition today, the people in charge did not make strong warning trough education before?

why they didnt and obligate today the manufactures to give us natural, ecological and healthy things to eat ?

do they retire in thailand? in my village nobody has enough money to do it, also the government give 500 baths a mounth to old people only

now tell me:

1)in europe who can retire at 50?

2) who has enough money to retire defenitly at 50?

3) do you really think that a real rich person who has enough money will honestly retire in thailand ?

4)what is the concept of retired in thailand? only the fact that you can show 800 000 baths in a bank and you are over 50 ?

to me the visas in thailand should be revoqued to give them a new name more in accordance with the reality

also people who are married with a thai person should have a status and a real visa to stay here and work too..like every where in the world....not this stupid non immigrant visa....who doesnt mean anything. of course we are immigrant.

1/ I have been to that bar myself, and many other ladyboy bars ( YOU SICK PUPPY) and I have never been attacked or ever seen any of the "girls" acting in any threatening or violent manner at all.( THATS COZ YOU LOVE THEM LONG TIME )

2/ I have seen many men be incredibly rude and insulting to ladyboys in Thailand ( AS ANYONE WITH A FULLY FUNCTIONAL MORAL COMPASS SHOULD), and I have witnessed farang men physically assaulting a ladyboy for no reason(AFTER THEY LATCHED ON TO THEM AND WOULDN'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER).
