Throw something they can chew, like the fake bones from the pet shop. The ones that last forever. Does not cost much. They will love you for that too!

Singapore, 9 years, haven't had a burger there, at least can't remember anything to remember. Local food beats any burger
-
Hope your mom is well, must have been some experience.
Every hospital has to treat you for emergency within the first 24h regardless of insurance or not. That's the law.

Get some real food....alamak.

Sounds like fun, if I'd be a backpacker, perfectly fine. Thanks for the headsup. If more people would know and more people will use it, perhaps one day there will be a bus system.
They just added a funny tourist transport to Ban Tawai and that to the new "outlet" at Kad Farang. Both completely useless. If they cease operation perhaps they could drive around the city.

Correction to my earlier post
Major op 1million Baht
1-2 million per event at a government hospital. 5 mill if private. We have a member ion this board who recently racked up >3 million in a single hospitalization (without major complications, but 2 big specialized surgeries) in a private hospital, and I have seen far, far worse especially after major accidents with multiple trauma. Luckily he was well insured.
You are ignoring one important fact here. Almost all local health insurances come with a limitation of max. 1mTHB coverage.

I have a new theory....
Sent my 90 days via registered mail, received on 1.April (no joke) by Immigration. The return letter, as the previous not returned one in January, was stamped with 3B as per postal requirements.
Haven't received it back by today, whereas there are 2 other returned reports with normal mail in shorter time using 10B stamps.
I'm in Hang Dong, not Muang. Perhaps still comes back before due date of 11th (Monday).
So probably you need to put a 10B stamp on it for all their additional material they are distributing now instead of following Thai Post pricing
.
Just a hypothesis....

They can move in an office in Central Embassy together with the Swiss and Americans, the name is perfect and more condos and malls are urgently needed

We did one in Hang Dong about 2 years ago, no problem at all.
You don't need any lawyer for this, they may only complicate things. The land office has standard forms for usufructs they know how to use and what to fill in. If you come with a difficult to understand lawyer construct full with "tricks" they could just refuse it and deny to enter this to not make a mistake. Not the first time this happens. Standard form, ususfruct for life and chanod entry are sufficient. Just make sure you do that before you get married, if not your wife can cancel the ususfruct one-sided if divorced. It however will survive her death, making it still usefull as some form of "accident insurance" if done after marriage. Nobody knows what comes...
The yellow housebook does not prove anything, it's just a (cheap) replacement for a residence certificate.
Interesting approach, can believe it works as a "keep in simple" process ... ;-)
Are such standard forms publicly available at the land office to pick them up in advance and go through the document content (e.g. with some legal council) ?
That's a one page standard form they fill in their computer/database and keep it. You get entered into the Chanod as usufructus of the desired length, mostly 30 years or life long. There are no additional strings attached, just that. The signed ususfruct itself remains with the land office, no need to find a secure location for it. As simple as it can get.
-
If done before marriage it becomes undisputable. Same is the case if there is any 3rd party involved like a child when done during marriage.

You can buy the triple truck horns from Aliexpress, freaking loud, but you need still a compressor. The small one that comes with the plastic horns (which are loud too) is not strong enough. Tried that.
Link probably not allowed here, search for
"Triple Trumpet Air Horns 150.2dB" -
I have a compressor horn, kind of thing they install on trains. Still need to find a matching compressor. But also the smaller ones will do. Got a few grandmas almost killed back when I was young. It will work for the chinese too. Pickup double horns are usually sufficiently loud too...
Install air horns.....I've yet to find someone who doesn't jump when you give them a blast.
Good shop opposite Shangri-la hotel has Italian "Stebel" brand compact air horns for just 980baht. Very easy to install.
Easy to fit on motorbikes too.

You can't compare it to Singapore, that's like 3rd world to first world. Comparison to Bangkok would be fair.
Lived in SG for 9 years, don't really miss it, a bit, ok, but it was efficient, clean, green and people were usually friendly as any other Asians.

That's made for scooters, not for these expensive bicycles
-
I had 1 guy falling in front of me with the bike on a right turn. No contact. Another one close to the same. I like to horn to get these idiots off the road. Light helps more with cars. Today had a truck at Samoeng junction, he just drove in the middle lane to the right on red. Waiting for traffic to pass. Must make the best out of it, don't get agitated, so you wont get shot
-
Just horn, light and speed up. They will find their way. That's how the locals do it.
-
Same for me but it never worked before. Done it via mail and in person. It's in their database.
But the message pops up way to fast that any countrywide database search could have been done. The entry form does not ask for a location, so it must go to a central server. That should take at least a second or two, not immediately.
-
I do it at pedestrian crossings. Pisses off everybody behind. But so far I did not got shot

If you drink a few beers or that occasional Sangsom before Mont Clair it certainly will be completely enjoyable. No questions asked.

It's slow on TOT fiber too for the last 2 days. Great gateway gets implemented I believe
-
UOB opened an account for her with no problem or additional papers/forms needed. I haven't had the time to try BKB again.
Hope you got the V care one with free accident insurance.

May be a Som Tum thing, they always put the small onions and small garlic in there. I'd not even bother to buy them. Big onions and big garlic is the way to go

Mine never came back ... wife phoned and they said posted and gave her the new 90day report date
I do have the copy of receipt of my EMS to them.
They told my wife that as I don't have the slip that I can't 90day by post next time.
Annual extension next week ... will try and get a 90day slip or do a 90 day report.
If you have a copy of ems receipt no worries.
I will ask if Nonthaburi allow 90day on the internet yet
They will have it in their database, if you/your wife were told a new date that time.
Similar thing happened to a couple of people in Chiang Mai in January, overload something, they said they did not have enough people to put it back in the envelopes. I believe it was caused by the office renovation and they messed it up.
Anyway, data was in the computer and I was also told a new date, but they refused to print the slip. Went back a week later with a student on the machine and she just got it printed for me. My only explanation is the old guy did not know how to print the slip and said it could not be done to not lose face..

Every hospital, they have to treat you. Does not mean it's for free. But you do not need to put an insurance card on the table.
