Rain
in Chiang Mai
Doi Kham had small hail, fingernail size. Rain was necessary but not enough, the soil sucked the water in like there was none....

Haven't seen, they only have the "2D" version. Need to substitute. Look in Global or Watsadu.
-
The form does not need a signature . Complete amateurish. General's minion should do it again...
-
I'd not write "none", just strike it through.
-
There were some changes in the office, department head moved to another location. Got my yellow book some 4 years ago, was a bit easier that time probably. But it's a huge district, they got things working efficiently.
-
And so did that general say, don't need to fill details. My point just is most of this they have already or can find out in the blink of an eye (call to DLT for instance). I don't really find it alarming as some do. They just try to optimize workload.
-
Next time they make it a requirement to have a car. Mark is flooded with failed financing, let the aliens pay for itMust be some rich foreigners (the form has room for 2 vehicles).

Small animal hospital, Canal Rd. They may take care of it. Belongs to CMU.

You can strike out portions you don't want to answer, it's anyway only in "testing" in Chaeng Wattana now and as written before not an official document. Let's wait and see before drawing conclusions. I'd personally not answer the part about social media and transport. All the rest they have already.
-
I understand people like Nancy who stay central and don't want a car, but if you make a decision to stay remotely, like the touch hill, you only make your life miserable if you're afraid or too keeneow to get personal transport. Does not even need to be a car....scooter will do.

You probably need to understand a bit more of the history of the Thai police force and associated members of the ruling class. But that does not belong here.

Immigration belongs to the Royal Thai Police, not the army.

What district office (khet), please?
Phra Khanong did mine. Took 40mins, 20 to get all the data and photo and 20 to motivate the machine. They almost disassembled it

Anyone being asked to compete this (unofficial?) form should lodge a complaint.
1111 is the number to use.

Yes, report the Pol Maj Gen (we can see his name on the bottom there) to the Government = Army.
Pol. means Police, not army. They are not the best friends.

Try placing bottles of water at the edge about every three feet . I ve seem it done in our moo baan might work
A bit of voodoo perhaps. Get a dog puppet and a box of toothpicks. May be great fun ...
Black magic works in this country! Later you use the number of toothpicks to buy a lottery ticket!

Came back, so no problem. Just took a bit longer than in the past.
-
Mail came back today, that is a turnaround time of 12 days. 3B stamp is enough for normal mail on the return.
Included the slip and a blank TM47 form, no other notice.
On the backside a list of names of policemen responsible for the area .
You sent it in on April 1 and received it back on April 12. What date does your 90 day START on?
Due date was 11th, it was stamped on the 4th, new date is 2nd July.

Talk to the guys from thaiexports.com, in Hang Dong. They would be able to advise.

Rip offs are significantly lower than in alien populated beach locations. But that's a question of taste
-
Got a bit mixed up, there is another thread for us normal aliens....but yes, it's possible to get one with a yellow tabien baan, of course depending on the local amphoe, the weather and the last night of the officer in charge as everything here....

^ Yes. In 50 years time people will dig it up and imagine that Songkran was a tranquil cultural celebration in 2016.
It was always better 50 years ago. We just don't know
-
Yeah, that's good. It's a job to make a living but it may also be a compassion. If you want to succeed you have to be competitive. Educating yourself certainly helps.
1669 is commercial, not volunteers. But the only thing that matters is if they can make it in time.

We just had this, please look at the other thread.
PVC Fittings
in Chiang Mai
Posted · Edited by MadMac
There are blue, white, green, yellow, gray. Different strength, different purpose. But you can mix them, they will glue together. Don't buy the cheap PVC cement though, SCG one (white) is ok. Thai Pipe (green can) also.
Still you wont find that "3D" connectors for 5, they only have them for 3 or possibly 4 pipes in "flat" version, you need to substitute with more than one.
Global House is a good place to look, they have all colors and available sizes.
