  1. This is all a red herring. It doesn't matter whether COVID originated one way or the other; we know that both a leak and the infected animal theory are possible. What matters is that we try to avoid new pandemics no matter how they may originate.
  2. Why would we? It is a well known fact that female juice gets toxic after the shot. At least he deserves the same kind of compassion he has for others with pre-existing conditions: I am reminded why I usually stay away from this kind of threads and people.
  3. I am impressed that he takes his time to post scientifically based information contrary to what "the other side" posts. Surely, his post will not convert any of the anti-vaccine guys, but I am sure that if anyone in doubt reads this and other threads, they can clearly judge which posters are living in a sane world and which have succumbed to conspiracy theories.
  4. I am not so nervous about Covid spike protein found after two years as I don't know if that is good or bad. But what about the GPS tracker, is that still in the blood after two years?
  5. Guys, how hard is it to tell us which immigration office you were rejected or accepted at? Clearly, it depends on the office and it could help others to know where they can use the various options. Info about how long before the 90 days you applied could help too.
  6. In the email it says approved, and this is the attached document: Apparently not, at least not in Phuket. I was surely not in the system already as this was my first report ever.
  7. Visa, I got the DTV. It is the first time I am allowed to stay for more than 90 days, thus, my first 90 days report.
  8. I just got my report approved. It was my very first report ever - it is the first time I will stay in Thailand more than 90 days at a time. The report was approved 70 minutes after applying. I am staying in Phuket. I am in the window of less than 15 days before and more than 7 days before I reach the 90 days.
  9. What a stupid photoshopped picture, that is certainly not how they are gonna look. Why did you remove the tattoos?
  10. Well, that is your opinion, which has no bearing at the embassies and immigration. Age is not mentioned in the requirements for the DTV as opposed to some other visas.
  11. Only two years difference? That makes it one of the youngest jokes in here 555
  12. A VPN is as good as howling at the moon. It does not protect against either hackers or virus. Although, it may offer some protection if you are on a public wi-fi. Common sense and knowing what you are doing is the most important point. Like, do not download exe-files from everywhere (if you are using Windows) and do not visit dangerous websites known for spreading bad stuff. Using antivirus can be a good idea. Do not run server services unless you need them.
  13. I have left mine for 6 months at a time every year for 12 years. One year it could not start and I had to get it to a shop. It had been parked outside in all kind of weather at Suvarnabhumi Airport. The shop cleaned the sparks or something, cost me 120 baht. One year the battery was dead, but that was not a problem as I have a kick start. Half of the years it has been parked outside with no roof, the other half under a roof. Honda Click 125i.
  14. Why don't you ask New York State Bar? I do not know if the state bar is correct, however, I will believe them any day over some random guy in a forum.
  15. It seems, the New York City Bar is ignorant as well (bold as in the original text): "If you are found guilty, you have been convicted and must be sentenced. Your case will then be adjourned for sentencing." ... "If you are convicted, whether after trial, or after pleading guilty, you will be sentenced by the judge." ... After you are sentenced, you have a right to appeal your conviction or sentence. https://www.nycbar.org/new-york-state-criminal-justice-handbook/
  16. Not really, it does not say anything about income in point 5. The website and the VAT registration was all that was needed for that point. Mind you, the website is about Thailand, and I used to be a professional writer, thus the quality of the website is OK.
  17. I did not need to do that. I applied in Denmark, and I gave them a screenshot and a link to the website you will find a link to in my profile. I was not asked to prove an income from the website - which was good as I don't really have an income from that. I was asked for proof of my company's existence, I send them a copy of my VAT registration. No proof was needed for an income. I am retired, and have earlier had NON O multi entry visas, and I was a bit nervous that they would know that I am retired and thus refuse to give me the DTV. However, I got the DTV.
  18. What is this small thing that loves to climb walls and hang from the ceiling?
  19. As I understand it, the DTV is neither a NON O category nor a Tourist category. It is a new category. That people can get a 5 year license renewal seems to clearly say that the visa is not in the Tourist category. Where is that quote from? Is it from something official or from a person trying to explain it in layman's terms?
  20. As far as I remember, I have only seen two reports of members renewing a drivers license on a DTV, and both got 5 years. Are you sure about this? I thought so at first, misreading the T in DTV as Tourist. Now, I understand that the DTV is in a new category and judged from the reports of people getting 5 years license renewal, it does not have tourist status.
  21. We have had a couple of reports of people that got a 5 year license on the DTV; however, the various transport offices may not agree on this, thus, we will have to wait and see when more people report back - and hopefully they will let us know which offices they used.
  22. We have heard different prices for extending at immigration, 10.000 baht and the usual extending fee of 1.900 baht. We do not yet know what it will cost, and we do not yet know which documents they want for an extension. Thailand introduced the DTV July 15th; thus, no one will be extending it at immigration until sometime in January.
  23. Yes. I haven't left Thailand yet, but other members have reported that they got a new 180 days stamp and no questions asked when entering Thailand a second time with the visa.
  24. If you mean extending the stay at immigration you will have to wait until sometime in January. If you mean renewal of the visa you have to wait some 4½ years. If you mean renewal by leaving Thailand and getting back to Thailand we have had reports of that, you will get a new 180 days stay.
