  1. Where do you find those? The ones I found only offers fully refundable if cancelled a week or earlier before arrival date; however, that is too early in this case as we may not know anything about the new rules until a few days before November 1st. I have written to three hotels to hear if they will pay back anything if the requirement is changed from 7 days to 1 day; none of them have replied yet.
  2. Every time they have made changes, nothing has been clear until one or two days before the changes, sometimes not until the day of the changes. I wouldn't count on things being in place in time for you. I am leaving Denmark November 1st, and I have applied for the first part in the COE process. I will wait with the second part till early next week in case they for once get their act together, but I guess I will end up having to get the COE and pay for a hotel for 7 days.

    Masks

The reason some countries are there at the moment is the vaccines. The problem, of course, is the way the human species immune system adapt. Only the fittest adapt and survive, some of them with long term consequences. And the rest die.
  4. In Denmark. When I am in Thailand, I rent out my apartment. A couple of years ago, I got a letter from a lawyer with information of what was downloaded, the date, and which client was used. I could prove that I was not in Denmark at the time; thus, they waived the claim.
  5. It seems that a lot of people in here does not understand that. I believe it is sort of redundant now as most of the connections to important sites are encrypted now. You simply shouldn't use a site with personal information if it is not using https. The exception for using a VPN is if you are doing something illegal or if you want to bypass restrictions in a country. Besides, the traffic a VPN hides from the ISP can be seen by the VPN service provider; I do trust most ISPs much more than I trust a VPN service provider. Agree. Although paying money does not mean they will keep your records safe. As far as I know, ExpressVPN is now owned by a company that in the past have sold data about ther users. That said, I use ExpressVPN too for some things; however, I disconnect the VPN as soon as I am done.
  6. Under the current plan, the areas Khao Lak and Ko Yao in Phang Nga is part of the sandbox plan. You can go to your SHA+ hotel there directly from the airport when arriving at Phuket Airport. https://www.tatnews.org/2021/10/now-7-day-stay-for-sandbox-tourists-from-any-country-in-the-world/
  7. My bad, I should have checked. It appears that they do offer the multi entry tourist visa: https://warsaw.thaiembassy.org/en/page/69321-visa?menu=5d7e827b15e39c3ac0008b9d @JeanVDB22 when you mentioned that the tourist visa does not seem to be an option, did you mean because it may be a problem to do a visa run? It may not be possible to do a visa run using a land based border; but come January, it should not be a problem to do a visa run by air. That is what I plan on doing if a land based visa run is not possible.
  8. Double entry tourist visa is long gone. Have you checked if you can get a multi entry tourist visa on the evisa site? https://thaievisa.go.th/ I just got one of those in Denmark. Much easier to get than the STV and cheaper too.
  9. I applied using thaievisa.go.th and the embassy in Denmark. The same requirements as before the virus.
  10. I got my Multi Entry Tourist Visa today, it took eight days; however, they were closed Wednesday - and they wanted additional documents, which probably delayed the process by a day or two.
  11. If the Danish Embassy do provide documentation for income/money in a Danish bank, shouldn't that negate the requirement for money in a Thai bank?
  12. I know, I got that last year; although, I didn't get to use it. Too cumbersome, and also expensive as I need an extra insurance.
  13. I am planning a five month trip to Thailand (sandbox). I used to go on a multi entry Non Immigrant O based on retirement and a visa run; however, they don't issue those anymore. Thus, I am looking for another solution. I am Danish, older than 50 years. Is this viable? Arriving on visa exempt + 30 days extension or on a tourist visa. Then get a Non-Immigrant O based on retirement in Thailand. I am not sure if the Danish Embassy will issue documentation for income/money in the bank, they haven't yet replyed my email. I have money in a Danish bank, and I do have an income of more than 65000 baht a month. I do not want to place a lot of money in a Thai bank. Also, I am not sure when the Non O will take effect: from the issue date or from the end of the permission of stay? If from the issue date, then I guess I cannot get five months with the visa exempt but instead need a tourist visa + 30 days extension and then a Non O. Any better solution? I have a travel insurance; however, they insurance company will not fill out the Foreign Insurance Certificate for the Non-Immigrant O-A visa. They have their own certificate, which I guess is not enough.
  14. They're trying to be Prince Charming, delivering Antmusic. Then again, they have to if they want to be Kings of the Wild Frontier (Amazon); otherwise their competitors would snatch all the customers. It's a Dog Eat Dog world out there; Hard to get a Room at the Top.
  15. If you tell us: which visa you will get how long time you will stay in Thailand which country you live in then someone may be able to suggest an insurance for you. Also, have you been to Thailand before, and did you have an insurance that time?
  16. There is no such thing as a sandbox insurance. You may need an insurance to get a visa, depending on which visa you want. This kind of insurance can be difficult to get at your age. You need a COE to enter Thailand and in order to get that you need a Covid insurance. You can get one here: https://covid19.tgia.org/ The age limit is 99 years; thus, not a problem for you.
  17. Insurance or covid insurance as it says in the topic? If the latter, the one you can buy from TGIA works until 99 years old. https://covid19.tgia.org/
  18. I don't think it was required at that time. The Android version of the ThailandPlus app was released December 2020. The ASQ cannot demand the use of a mobile device, and they cannot send you back if you do not have one. Immigration can do both. I arrived March 2021, the guy before me had a problem with the app, the immigration officer used a lot of time with his phone. I don't know what the result was as I got through with no problem just showing the app on my phone.
  19. If you do not know how to turn off JavaScript: In Firefox, visit the page and press the Ctrl+i keys to open the information window. Here, you can choose the Media page, find the image and save it.
  20. Since you asked about viewing and saving a file from the cache in browsers that you do not have installed: Is the image still visible at the website? If so, it should be easy to save the image directly from the webpage rather than using the cache.
