Did I imagine that just 24 hours ago he stressed that the rule of law must be followed. Today's outburst said that basically when he thinks he has bought enough support from the retarded and feeble-minded, screw the rule of law and democracy, he will rally his slackjaws and attempt to gain control over Thailand through terrorism. Entirely predictable IMO.
By 'retarded and feeble-minded', are you referring to a large portion of the electorate?
Just want to know where you're coming from.

I'm not taking sides. I'm just curious as to how much the junta could beat her up before her supporters would start squealing. I wonder if she's really as popular in some places as some report she is.
Her supporters can't start squealing unless they want their attitudes adjusted.
-
So basically a police state then.
Is that what we are saying?
Kind of. It is illegal on this forum to describe the exact form of government the junta is seeking to install.

Where has all that sympathy for farmers from the junta-lovers gone? When PT were in power the farmers deserved so much. Now, not so much, it appears.

"He said that it would depend on the National Reform Council to decide whether there should be a referendum or not."
Probably better to come from the reform committee than from the PM. Mind you, from comments I gather some posters would really like the PM to force his way through
Do you enjoy being lied to?
He said he hasn't got the power to order a referendum. Section 44 gives him that power. What part of this logic do you disagree with?
Not sure how things were phrased in Thai. "no power' or 'not wise to use the power' ?
Anyway, the logic which keeps on suggesting the PM uses A44 as a magic wand and then goes on about the dictatorial aspects of using said wand is somewhat faulty logic.
I suggested nothing, but anyway, well done!!! You are so right!!!! Amazing!

I'm surprised he didn't call it the 'New Light of Siam'.

“It will be the last thing we will do,” said Jatuporn.
555. Go on everyone...file this one away for future reference.

Just an excuse for Thai-so's with nothing better to do with their time to be twee and patriotic. Blatant nationalism always does them proud. You don't like the status quo which supports my houses and cars? You're a traitor!

Somyot's name card was pinned to the tree the guy was hanging off, according to another report I read in the bp.

exploitation of minors - another low to add to the red terrorist recruitment drive - starting to sound like ISIS, it seems older questionably wiser people have realised the risk reward isn't worth it so they are looking for kids to carry out their dirty deeds

I had a great time. Absolutely loved it. I think it's just beautiful to see so many happy people dancing and laughing in the street.

You quie aptly sum up one of the major issues with foreigners here.Oh... The woes of billionaires! Definitely deserve sympathy from the 60 million Thais living on mere pittance incomes.
That you think about class issues and not that he was a victim of crime.
Why should anyone think he was the victim of crime? He will be a victim of crime if his allegations are proved in court.
No.
Being the victim of a crime doesn't require proof in court.
Being guilty of having committed a crime requires proof in court.
Your reasoning would say that a person who was robbed actually wasn't unless the perpetrators were caught. The same with murder victims / rape victims etc
I understand what you say of course, but without the proven facts the idea that he is a victim is not much more than speculation.
Of course he might be a victim in actual fact, but if we don't see the evidence for it, then by suggesting that he is indeed a victim, you are engaging in that which I think I have seen you chide others for in this forum - speculation.

The army has never illegally murdered anyone ever. We know this because there has never been a successful prosecution brought against any military party in the death of another during their duties.

I've been intimate with women that have passed out from alcohol and drugs. So being intimate with A dead woman I guess about the same except A little stiff, and the smell.
I talked to her after she woke up and she say's she didn't care what I did. That if she wasn't awake, then not A problem.
I mean if A woman wants to be intimate with me when I'm sleep or dead it wouldn't bother me.
OMG......

Feel sorry for those farmers who couldn't hang on in there and killed themselves because of farming related debts. I don't like the military leadership but won't make a political issue out of it.
