Perhaps T21 believe that people will shop and/or eat in the mall before going to the beach or; more likely; before going home. Like all other malls they regularly hold events to tempt people in.
Two legends lost this week: Roger Hunt and Freddie Hill.
Roger signed for his childhood hero Nat Lofthouse who was manager at the time. Freddie was good enough to be capped by England. Ended his career with 2 other Bolton legends Wyn Davies and Frannie Lee.
Akara was originally due to open about now but until the Chinese and others return there really isn't any need. All the properties closed on the LHS of Soi 33 and those round the corner on the main road are due to be demolished to apparently make way for required landscaping and parking for Akara.
Bolton fans too. Roger joined us after his career at Liverpool. He just had a couple of seasons before retiring but, as a boyhood Bolton fan, he was often at Burnden and the Reebok when we moved there.
RIP.
Thailand are on the UK's red list; yesterday there were more than 30,000 new cases in the UK and the number is rising as Summer ends. Who is being protected from whom?

Yesterday Singapore donated 122,000 doses of AZ vaccine to Thailand; source CNA TV.
I wonder if Singapore originally bought these from AZ's Thai manufacturing facility.
