  1. God and religion, the greatest scam known to man!
  2. Yes Dr Jack. If I can get the letter day before, go to the IO at 8.30 the next morning, your in and out in a thrice but doing the bank letter the same day means you go to IO much later and you can be in there for 2 hours or more sometimes.
  3. Fellow members, I've done a search but can't find the answer I'm looking for. My annual extension is coming up and I use the 800K in the bank method. I can't remember if I read it or was told but I've always been under the impression that the bank letter and statement had to be done on the day of the renewal? Speaking to a friend of mine the other day and he says that's wrong and that you can get the letter and statement a day or two before you go to Immigration as he always does. Can the experts on here enlighten me as to what the correct rules are? Thanks in advance.
  4. My thoughts exactly jvs. Let it play out and if they end up wanting to tax the money I've already paid tax on, I'm off, never to return!
  5. Absolutely not. Don't wear any whatsoever.
  6. I absolutely 100% couldn't give a shi'ite. I do it my way and always will, they do it theirs. Hey ho!
  7. And that tells me a great deal about the guys character! We need to steer well clear and leave him to stew!
  8. Bit of a misnomer there... Should it not be either "incorrect Information" or just "misinformation" only?
  9. What % of farangs in Thailand are worth talking to? Definitely not the ones who profess to be ex special forces and haven't got a clue what they're talking about! There seems to be an abundance of them.
  10. Fwow him to the gwound wuffly centurwian...
  11. Exactly...
  12. You heartless bar steward...!!! ???? That'd be me out then!
  13. Therefore they could also resemble Saudis, Emiratis, Bahrainis, Qataris, Omanis, Lebanese, Syrian or Iraqis. Where the <deleted> did they get Kuwaiti from?
  14. For those that are interested, here is my daily fix over the first cup of coffee of the day. You glean a wealth of City info from here. https://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Premier+League/Manchester+City
  15. If you do decide to go down that route, it's an absolute doddle. Just do all the online shenanigans and book your appointment with the nearest PP Office to you in advance and you're in and out in 10 minutes, new PP in hand. I found the online process simple. Did this in October last year.
  16. Yep, I concur! From what I see on their FB page it seems that they promote, advertise and support every minority or woke cause they can find instead of actually providing the services that British nationals deserve!
  17. As soon as I saw that word, I knew! Loving the profile pic! Miss those badgers! If you know, you know!????
  18. I had the good fortune of being able to watch the Bell, Lee and Summerbee trio when I first started going to watch City at Maine Road and was at the game that ultimately ended the career of Colin the King. The man was an absolute thoroughbred (his nickname was Nijinsky) and was touted as the future England Captain. It's open for debate but in some areas of the press at the time, he was Division one's finest midfielder. I never thought I'd see the like of him again at City. However, things changed, the Arabs bought us and along came the diminutive El Mago (or Merlin as he was nicknamed by the other City players) and wow, what a sight to behold when that lad was on form. He's the most skilful payer I've ever seen in a sky blue shirt. I also once had the pleasure of meeting him at Suvarnabhumi and what an absolute gentleman he was. Recover well David and remember the times you wowed the world with your skill and quality.
  19. Just my personal experience but me and the missus have always had great service from Hua Hin Immigration in the three different locations it's been over the 11 years we've been here.
