We all might need to make a break - for the border.
Another coup means the army isn't going to step down anytime soon. (You think the hi-so's are gone?) All the election did in 2007 after the army, as self-scheduled, stepped down was to yet again reelect Thaksin's people. Then what happened? Samak got booted out because he like to cook on television and was stupid enough to accept a (cough) few baht for it. Somchai got aced out by a silent behind the scenes coup. Bangkok's center got torched for it.
A new coup against Yingluck and Thaksin's present gang would be absolutely intolerable to the reds. Each side knows the stakes involved in any new coup. It would be for keeps, the new old Burma. Each side would neither come nor go quietly.
Thanks for that riveting insight Nostradamus. Bed time Zzzzzzzz

GREAT LINE!
Thanks for Woody.
I can't get enough of him
I had forgotten this line it was so long ago, but this just points out again how much fun these films are to watch, some a dozen times over 30 years.
Thank you.
Here is an interesting article that dives into the topic that Allen glossed over - http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/anti-semitism/Wagner.html
For myself the brilliance of the music, politics aside, is of primary importance when I perform it.

Thai cabinet ministers are replaced so often theres no logic behind appointing any of them.
Newin Chitchob must be glad he's out of politics. Looks like he's making big money running his football business in Buriram.
Seems to have a few farangs kicking the ball around for him.
Filled a stadium the other night.. .....does he have to pay income tax.?.. dont ask.
LMAO that you think Newin is "out of politics" -

I love most things about LOS..
Like most people, there are certain things that frustrate me but overall I'm happy to live here..
However, why can't they ban Amway ??
Or just ban relatives of the wife from being involved with it... We had over an hours sales pitch for a water filter that we already told them we did not want or need !! 30,000 baht for something to treat our rain water which we drink
Anyone else have trouble kicking annoying relatives out the house ? My dog loves it though as I tend to take him on longer walks when this happens..
Don't sell that water filter short - it is quite good!

You shouldn't be surprised at the negative reactions to the OP, considering how many of them failed with equitable partnerships in their home countries. Most of them came here to buy women, one way or another.

One last interesting tidbit - every Saturday TPO program is broadcast LIVE on Thai Channel 9 (Modern Nine). But of course, hearing the real concert is much better, and every Saturday concert we have groups of expats from Pattaya and Hua Hin who rent shuttle buses and come to our programs! Check us out - we are pretty good

When i saw the thead topic - the first thing i though of was Thaksin, Yingluck, Chalerm, et al in a garden - because they are all such big tools.
-
The same way as I am at home - I wander from room to room mumbling incoherently, until i bang my knee on a sharp object and crumple to the floor, curl up in a ball, and wait for a Jingting poll to make it all better...
