  1. I notice that there are no photo's with this news story, that probably says it all really.

I expect the fleet of brand new shiny red tractors and people in brand new first time ever worn farmers clothes decided not to go near a small group of red shirts.............

Perhaps they might have been scared their southern dialect would have been picked up quite quickly ?

    In my opinion of course.

Photo of 2 people and lots of empty seats........

there were 30 of them. They will probably apologize to you for not taking a group photo for you. facepalm.gif

  2. first of all, their mercenaries are here already. Lots of "sleepers" as well.

secondly, why do you think Kuwait and another middle eastern country have told their citizens to move out a long time ago. Do they know more? Sure they do that Saudi has it's fingers into it via Thaksin.

thirdly, when the so called "mob" arrives it will be the start of big time troubles in Bkk.

All embassies should actually be on high alert by now. When it becomes a war, foreigners will be no longer save. Intimidation or even attacks won't stop only with their own people. (the "hong muet" - dark rooms were for real last time when they were in Bangkok three months ago.

The army will hesitate to move in until there's really no longer another option. A coup(as we know it from here in the past) is not possible - it will be a hard fight.

I really hope that those reasonable red shirts will put Thailand first and the family that has orchestrated all the troubles, last. Then I see a little hope.

Locals who got and are intimidated should find a way to report every single culprit secretly. Executives and especially the army will keep an eye on them and act accordingly when the time is ripe.

  3. and here again YS went shopping during these tragedies ... disgusting ...is this her understanding of duty?

Caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra plans to work from locations in provinces neighbouring Bangkok to avoid being hounded by anti-government protesters, a Government House source said yesterday.
She and her Cabinet will perform their duties in provinces near Bangkok and return to the capital on a daily basis, but will not reveal their locations due to security concerns," the source said.

The source said the premier and her Cabinet would no longer use the office of the Permanent Secretary for Defence in Muang Thong Thani, as it was seen to be at risk of being besieged by the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC).

Her movements and activities will be kept secret to prevent her being targeted by anti-government protesters, some of who have vowed to capture the premier, the source said.

Yingluck yesterday appeared in public to perform official duties as premier for the first time since the PDRC surrounded her office at the Permanent Secretary for Defence's office last Wednesday.

She inspected the Saraburi One Tambon One Product (Otop) centre in Chalerm Phrakiat district and suggested that more roadside Otop centres be built to improve people's living conditions. She also encountered a small group of PDRC protesters during her visit to the centre.

Yingluck was accompanied by caretaker Transport Minister Chadchart Sittipunt, caretaker Deputy Education Minister Sermsak Pongpanich and caretaker PM's deputy secretary-general Pol Maj-General Tawat Boonfueng.

The premier will chair a Cabinet meeting this morning and a Defence Council meeting in the afternoon. Both meetings will be held at the Royal Thai Air Force Headquarters in Don Muang. http://www.nationmultimedia.com/politics/Yingluck-to-work-outside-Bangkok-to-avoid-proteste-30227695.html
  4. Great minds discuss ideas:

    Average minds discuss events:

    Small minds discuss people:

    Eleanor Roosevelt

Very true. Thaksin makes a convenient scapegoat for those who refuse to accept, or are ignorant of, the real issues behind Thailand's problems.

are you guys talking about the great ideas of rice scams, car scams, tablet scams and so many more? Or then ones that discussed the death toll targeted in the war on drugs to make mainly the reds dance? Or the ones that provide sattelite phones for T with VOIP tunneling so that it can't be traced or tracked? Show me great minds out of that? p l e a s e ...

  5. look back at the black clad mercenaries in the war on drugs. The same group. It was watered down and no investigation took place. Hence the cover up by Thaksin. We saw them again boldly with the reds in 2010 and now again. as long as this country doesn't deal with that from the very root, war on drugs, it will be cursed forever by the paid mercenaries.

Once again, who covered it up from the very beginning? - Here you go ...

The UN and international communities must get active now or else it won't stop. A desperate attempt to get photo ops with the demonstrators was exposed as well.

Thaksin needs and WILL stand trial in The Hague for genocide.

  6. apart from all that. I heard a big explosion and a few gun shots at 1:30am this morning. After that the sound of at least a big bike and a few smaller ones sounded like chasing. Not sure about the location. Could have been LadPhrao or Rama nine road. No sounds of police cars or rescue cars this time.

Weeks ago when I heard something similar it was downplayed and first reported with no shootings and explosions. Later on they had to admit shootings and a grenade. That time it was in LadPhrao area.

  7. I do have big doubts that black clads are mingling with protesters. They would have been in action where other leaders and protesters were arrested too.

Looks more like a setup for photo ops so the govt supporters can divert the focus that black clad are red/rouge hired mercenaries. It just doesn't fit. Imagine they just went to the van to free this one leader. Impossible!!!

Suthep , setup...almost an anagram. He is the ultimate charlatan /snake oil merchant/con artist...any trickery is possible from him

so the blacks just turned up during the agressive attack on protesters? Show me one picture where you see blacks mingling with protesters.

But I do remember Thaksin's genocide with the blacks during his slaughter of innocent people in the war against drugs and in 2010 ...

  8. I do have big doubts that black clads are mingling with protesters. They would have been in action where other leaders and protesters were arrested too.

  9. What's the bet she refuses to even turn up to acknowledge the charges. rolleyes.gif

that will make her automatically guilty. I don't think she can leave the country now. To much damage done to the country and very often in a criminal way.

This corrupt govt could be taken in a jiffy.

part one of the reform must be an independent powerful control over details in book keeping and accounting. Roll back to the contractors, all, check the books and feasibility. If you go back five years from here you will find trillions of Baht and where it leaked.

After impeachment she will be personally liable for lots of damages caused by her and others alleged criminal neglect.

Three civilians and one policeman were killed today.

Why would the protesters want a violence when she, her minions and puppeteers are already cornered?

  10. Bangkok is not Thailand.

I know it's making the news and all, but there's another 55 million people in Thailand who live out of the city.

A lot of posters here watch the news and think there;'s a revolution happening, but it's only in Bangkok.

One needs to view this in perspective.

They don't represent the majority of Thais, by a long shot.

not quite right. I've been to several villages and there I saw even a higher participation in %age than in Bkk.

  11. Quite simply an amazing situation. Hardly imaginable in any other country.

Government sends billions of baht to Thaksin.

Farmers grow rice that the government agrees to buy from them on the understanding they will be paid when said rice is sold.

Government fails to sell rice and farmer is unable to get cash for his rice thus unable to buy food and essentials and pay bills.

Government dissolves parliament before paying farmers knowing they have not sold the rice and are unable to pay farmers.

Caretaker government makes promises to pay but cannot sell rice and cannot raise loans to pay farmers.

Caretaker government tells farmers to borrow money from BAAC plus interest. BAAC borrows money from Gov't Svgs Bank.

Farmers borrow their own money from BAAC and pay interest on it.

An amazing situation brought to you by the Great Brain behind PTP.

If I am wrong here please correct. Thanks.

so they used govt channel to pay Thaksin for his support during the mob from 2006 to approx. 2010? feasible! This why they try to hang on by all means to cover their crime in this govt. Was he whining to get killed by his masters and eco hitmen like he became one himself?

The books will release a lot more info than we already know.

  12. she visited her husband, that was the main reason. The divorce was technical. Thaksin himself visited a fortune teller. The same?

Well, this superstitious element in their family is alone reason enough to get rid of them, - all.

Mr Thaksin, you were very near to the country you want to rape more and more ... nobody is blocking you from going there. What's your problem?
