Just selfish paranoid people. Just imagine someone like that with a fake name (there are quite a lot on this forum who wont fill in their name) gets infected does not know it and infects others again. All because of selfishness.
We should all be paranoid at how a glorified flu epidemic is being used to brainwash us into accepting the kind of authoritarian rule which exists in China and North Korea.
Anyone who cannot see where were are being led must be blind - or possibly brain damaged by hypoxia from constant mask-wearing.

Agreed. Well said. We need more open minds, free from political bias.

You can bet the WHO chief has been told to keep the COVID shock/horror show on the road by the vaccine vultures who fund his farcical operations.
They're worried that by the time they get their much-vaunted shots to market, the pandemic will be on its last legs and herd immunity so widespread that hardly anyone will need them
With POTUS refusing to fund the WHO, the organisation is little more than a sock puppet for its Big Pharma corporate sponsors and palpably unfit for purpose.

If I was a rotter, I would point out the dep. health chief's mask is at half mast and there's a conspicuous lack of social distancing.
But I'm not, so Mai pen lai.

Pathetic piece of journalism that doesn't even ask, let alone answer, the junior reporter's basic question. . . WHY?

On arrival testing is useless as incubation period is 3 to 14 days. Anyone can test negative the first time and positive the second, as is any kind of home quarantine or non strictly controlled quarantine. Some will always destroy for the rest. This is going to increase anti foreign sentiment.
And, of course, the tests are unreliable.

That you don't read scientific papers doesn't mean it isn't there.
I've read lots of them and quoted them in past postings. Have you?

For every 1 death, 19 more require hospitalization; 18 of those will have some permanent heart damage for the rest of their lives; 10 will have permanent lung damage; 3 will have strokes; 2 will have neurological damage leading to chronic weakness and loss of coordination. Stay at home, wear a mask if you have to go out, observe social distancing and wash your hands.
Thanks for that. Do you have a source?

It is not only the mortality rate ... people who were cured of the virus and left hospital may suffer severe side effects such as permanent lung , liver and kidney damage , and even brain damage ...
The operative word is "may". What, one wonders is the scale and and prevalence of these alleged side effects? Also, it is know that other viral infections, such as flu and mumps can lead to long-lasting nd serious complications.

Of course there is evidence that you spread much much more when you’re not wearing a mask, but should you ever have a surgery, please feel free to tell the doctors to not wear a mask.
There are masks and masks. Surgeons wear masks in order not to contaminate sterile spaces such as operating theatres with bacteria. They are not proof against viruses.

That’s ok. If you want to believe that a 30yo guy who was admitted to hospital, told a nurse that he made a mistake going to a Covid party and died shortly later died of something else than Covid then you can believe that, of course.
One can only be grateful you are not a registrar.

The fact that he himself told the nurse that “it was a mistake” to join the Covid party doesn’t sound like he died of a car accident.
Deflection. What did he actually die of? Inference is not evidence.

Yes .....laws sometimes do that. Get over it.
Not being allowed to murder other people also infringes upon individual freedom . Lets scrap that law and just kill anyone who we fall out with or want to rob.
These people are like little children. Their sense of entitlement is unbelievable.
Not a fair comparison. Murder kills people, which is why it is illegal. There is no credible evidence to show not wearing a mask kills anyone, except possibly the wearer.

The number of team competing to be first past the post is greatly exceeded by the number of mutations of the so-called novel corona virus, which I gather are already into three figures.
With a moving target like this, coming up with an effective and properly-tested-and-proven- safe vaccine looks increasingly like mission improbable, if not impossible.
The history of pandemics demonstrates - notably with the 2009 swine flu epidemic - that hustling a new vaccine to market with imprudent haste can produce unforseen serious public health consequences.
Such events appear more likely since the US Supreme Court indemnified vaccine makers against compensation claims. For this reason alone, any attempt to make COVID shots mandatory must be rejected as abrogation of the basic human right to bodily autonomy.

But since nobody in the shops care if you actually do that, I tend to have started to "forget" to comply. Why couldn´t they have made the app to work without connecting to a website, and just check you in/out as soon as you scan the QR Code??
It doesn't necessarily have to work - for now. It's just one element of the obedience training we are being subjected to (like human version of Pavlov's dog) in preparation for a "new normal" of constant surveillance, tracking and tracing, social distancing, mask wearing, mandatory vaccination, health certificates for travel and jumping obediently through whatever flaming hoops are put in your way.
So just lie back like the rest of us and have your tummy patted, there's a good boy.

Thanks for the Interesting video, which seems to indicate masks may be of use in cases where individuals have obvious symptoms of infection. But otherwise. . .
"There is no scientific evidence for the effectiveness of face masks in healthy or asymptomatic individuals. On the contrary, experts warn that such masks interfere with normal breathing and may become “germ carriers”. Leading doctors called them a “media hype” and “ridiculous”.
This is the verdict of the respected Swiss Policy Research team, based on a study which drew upon the findings of 52 separate pieces of research.

Like Peter Hitchens, I strongly suspect compulsory masking (or muzzling, as he calls it) is less about protecting our health than about grooming us to accept ever-greater State control over our lives.
Personally, I wear a mask only when in enclosed public spaces and transport, where not doing so might provoke an unwelcome reaction. Unless and until I develop symptoms, I plan to remain barefaced and bolshy.
