My 7 year old Brother printer is refusing now to print any colours, only black and white. I only use it intermittently and the local repair shop says it is not worth repairing. I am contemplating buying a new one Would expert members recommend a reasonably priced and reliable one. I do not want a cartridge fed device.
I grew potatoes successfully in Scotland for 30 years, but they always seemed to sprout better if exposed to a period cool temperatures before laying out. I suggest you put them in the bottom drawer of you refrigerator for at least a week. Do not freeze.
I get all my pensions from UK sources where they all have UK tax deducted before being paid to me, and annually I receive a P60 type form from UK HMRC to prove it . Confirm I am Not elegible for tax in Thailand.
Additionally, I have not been able to find the Tax Office in Chiang mai, where is it?
I agree, I also worked as a controller for 34 ears before retirement and the procedures in use at Reagan airport appal me. VFR at night is banned in most countries for the reason that it is inherently unsafe. In an urban area it is extremely difficult to pick out another aircraft's lights against the background city lighting. And taking ones eyes off a target to scan instruments even for a second can make it very difficult to re-acquire the other aircraft. I also held a PPL with Night and IMC ratings and so have experience in this field.
Firstly, I do not believe that there are "numerous"local pilots out of work.
Secondly Insurance companies often require plots to have a minimum number of hours experience before insuring the aircraft.
Thirdly, a wet leased aircraft is almost always registered in a foreign country and international regulations (to which Thailand MUST adhere to) require that pilots must hold licences issued or endorsed by the state in which the aircraft is registered. It would be uneconomic to re-register the aircraft in Thailand and for the foreign pilots to obtain Thai licences for only a few months work.

I have a Sharp rice cooker which has served us well . The non-stick coating on the bowl has become scratched after approx 7 years use,
I cannot find a Sharp agent in Chiang mai for to buy new bowl. Can any member suggest a store? Chiang mai area suggestions only please.
I am a very light skinned Celt so I always wear a shirt and and Long trousers (pants to you yanks). My Thai neighbour (who is frequently shirtless) commented that had never seen me without a shirt. One day he came in to my house just as I had taken off my shirt to put it n the washing machine and stared at me. He asked my wife if I was ill or had a skin infection because he never seen anybody so white, even a ghost.
i weighed my breakfast this morning, it was just under 400gm and consisted of pineapple, banana, papaya and dragon fruit in nearly equal quantities, cut to bite sized chunks, followed by a boiled egg and coffee.
I have about half a kilo of mixed chopped fruit for breakfast every morning. When I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (for which I take 80mg of Diamicron daily) I asked the doctor about this and he told me that "fruit is good for you but don't overdo it." Now a relative (who is always right and will not be contradicted) has seen something on YouTube that fruit is Taboo for all diabetics and has tried to forbid me from my favourite breakfast. My Hb1ac reading over 5 years have been stable at 6.0 to 6.2. I would like a second opinion.
This is a totally fraudulent article purvayed by a militant wildlife activist. In an attempt to discredit the hated Scottish Government the right wing press have picked it up and run with it. The Scottish Government have denied any part of it!
You may find that only cartridges made by the printer manufacturer will work. I had an HP printer for which I bought refilled cartridges and later identical non-HP ones. My printer declared both fake and refused to work with them.
