Always funny the the comments regarding Tmax and maxi scooter from people whom never tried or own one but hate it.

You can't just compare it to a big bike, not the same use or philosophy.

Nobody is comparing a 911 and a Cayenne, both are excellent but so different.

Is it too expensive? Sure it is! But they are selling it like hot cake so why wouldn't they...

I am also waiting to see if Honda will sell the Forza 750 in Thailand, the price would more be  attractive and I like the concept. The new Xadv 750 is also very interesting but I am not a big fan of the off road look.

That's how it is with forums - you have to take the rough with the smooth ..

Many would call it "banter" .

The Forza 750 looks ok to me, fed up with entry level sport bikes that don't perform.

As much as I like Honda exhausts on virtually all their bikes suck, big time.

Why don't you start a " fans of aftermarket exhausts" thread ?? - Could become a classic like Poppa's " sit down stand up fall off" thread .....

    Just sayin'

A shame but part of motoring culture seems to be making noise and causing nuisance. Same in USA, where half the dogs are pit-bulls and people parade around revving engines. What are they going to do when Harleys go all electric, install a loudspeaker with a 750-Watt

    amplifier to simulate exhaust noise?

And doing it cos they get egg'd on by their friends.....

i'd be in the market if it wasn't like riding an old bath tub and wasn't such a saft price

no strike that - i wouldn't be interested... If i wanted a bike that could go decent distances - i'd get a proper bike that would be a blast to ride...

For that price, you could get an X-ADV 750 for some long distance rides and an ADV 150 for wizzing around town and with the change get a months "all you can eat" pass as foxy chix a go go ....

I don't care about the noise and the old crusties who don't like it.

Why didn't your sodding ABS warn us about road works and semi-off road riding on the 101.

    What about me ? i'm 37, so i guess a "young crusty" ....

I hate loud exhausts with a passion ... People who put them and annoy the great unwashed should have the bike confiscated and loud pipe destroyed ....

    right, off me soap box..

Is it a good bike in LOS ? Only time will tell.

Dealer network efficient ? Mechanics knowledgeable ? Spare parts plentiful ?

Hope they do not fall down the same rabbit hole as Ducati - great bikes made next to useless here due to a lack of spare parts and knowledgeable dealers.

When your bike comes back from Laos in the back of a truck due to no parts in Thailand - what good is it ? No matter how "New", "High Tech" 'Best in Class" it is

I guess someone got to be "first out of the trenches" - but it wouldn't be me ....

You deviate from the norm, you'll probably live to regret it .....

I remember a couple of years back going to the launch of the then new Benelli Leoncino 500 - 215,000 Baht asking price as i recall....

    Last week i saw a sh/h one at a dealers for 89,900 Baht .....

Thats one hell of a kick in the teeth for the original owner ....
