When I lived in Pattaya, I was a regular customer of Ozimoto. Great company. I got stopped nine times by the Police. All my papers were in order. I was stopped because it was a trike. On the last visit to the Police, I asked to see the senior man in charge. He came out and saw the trike. Go to the car/bike registry place, he said. I did. They looked at me as if I was mad asking for a trike's legality on the road. So the answer I got was a loud No!! This was a couple of years ago. Maybe it's changed. I now have a saleng. They too, are illegal!! To have it MOT'd, I have to take the saleng off.

it is not legal to modify a motorbike / scooter or car for that matter, once it has left the factory ....

OK, so you an't going to get into trouble for changing the mirrors, but converting it to a trike or adding a side car will make you an easy target for the Police to keep stopping / fining you...... Also if you buy one of these said vehicles, the Transport department, when they inspect for a name change / MOT won't want to know ....

Your money - your choice ......

  3. <deleted> ..... the OP needs a proof of address letter from immigration to do the transfer - to get this - he would need to provide a copy of his current visa and proof of his thai address, along with an application form signed in blue (so they can see that it's not a phot copy) - if he can't provide this - no immigration letter, so he can't legally do the change .....

Also he'd have to sign the book (in blue pen) and sign the power of atourney / sales form, again in blue pen - if he's not in the country he can't do that......

Plenty of talk that an agent "can sort" but if it can be done, it won't be cheap....

I just had my Forza 2021 350 delivered, I had a 2017 Honda rebel, and a PCX for 6 years, but the Forza is amazing It feels like riding on a tall proper automatic motorbike not a scooter, and is very stable.

my only two gripes is the rear suspension doesn’t take the bumps very well at any setting.

The mirrors field of view isn’t that great, those little stick on circular curved mirrors would be a quick fix.

wow.... That's amazing .....cos the one i test rode was like riding an old bath tub and was nothing like an auto motorbike.....

I'll have a pint of whatever you're on please ......

A couple of years ago I chose an Nmax over an Xmax. Yes, less power for sure but the smaller size makes it far more useable on tight roads, in traffic and is easy for parking anywhere.

I am planning on getting a 300-400cc machine later but that will be for longer distances and fun, most likely a new style cruiser. The 300+ scoots are just too physically big as an all rounder.

Welcome to planet common sense .....

I agree, could never see the point in them. Too big for around town but not suited to touring/long distance.

makes me chuckle what the Bathtub Boys start harping on about them being as nimble as a 150 scooter round town (in a bathtub kind a way) ....

And don't get me started about turning circles - The Titanic had a better one ......lol

    OK...

Personally, a QuadLock and a Phone with google maps is the best option for navigation.

Google maps is better and easier to use than the SatNav’s in all the cars I have used.

Not if you want to go for a bike ride and sniff out the twisties - I use Tomtom Go and set to "winding route" -...as far at that gizmo in the OP - i just bought a s/h phone and use exclusively for bike rides ....... much cheaper and far more going on, on the screen ....

I have an X max 300, bit like a Forza

simple to ride, no bother cruising at 120, and leaves most cars and bike behind at the lights

Going through the twisty bits in the hills, find myself leaving friends on Honda 500s behind, due to the twist and go, instead of constantly changing gears

As far as idiots on the waves and clicks, not many go past, but i have no problem letting them go, . They might be stupid, but they know i could blow them off if i wanted to

I literally spat my coffee out laughing ! - a "bathtub" X Max 300 can leave a Honda 500 behind on the twisties ....

You're either Barry Sheene re-incarnated, or they're riding like a bunch of nancy's.....

I've never seen the attraction of the forza / x max - too big for the city, compared to say an ADV150,  and out on the open road sterile compare to a geared bike .....

But I wouldn't go back to a step through because the Aerox is just so stable, big bike feel. I just plan my big bag shopping to my last stop before home. It's doable. And if I didn't have my GF's helmet under the seat, most big bags fit easily there.

Sir ! - you obviously havn't riden an ADV 150 - The Aerox, although a very good scooter - rides like a small scooter ...The ADV rides like an auto dirtbike ...has much better suspension and brakes ......
