  2. I just got a so-called smart lock (digital) installed. But when closed there is a gap between the door and the jamb. The installer said it was because the lock tongue needed room to "spread its wings". Is this normal for digital locks?
  3. People with beards are always kind of crazy. A beard is just a way to show everyone that they are "not like everyone else" LOL.
  4. It's time for him to move to Pattaya - drink beer in the morning and stare blankly at the dark TV for the rest of the day 👉
  5. 29 / 33 PSI as said in the owners manual
  6. I bought mine the day before yesterday (Click 160 2024 ABS). The motorcycle seemed to me as if made from a single piece of wood! Very rigid suspension counts every crack on the road. I bought three new YSS absorbers for 11,000 baht. They were installed for me right at the factory (Samut Prakan). I made them softer than the default, but it still feels like you’re riding on a piece of wood 😬
  7. In the end I bought it after showing the yellow book. That's the end of the story 😏
  8. A & B are on my pink card and driving license. If you still need to confirm the address, it doesn’t matter where to go - directly to the dealer or to the DLT.
  9. Yes, self-registration would be a solution, thank you @richard_smith237. But where is the guarantee that they will not ask for the same documents - such as a work permit or proof of address from the embassy... https://www.35yontrakan.com/posts/how-to-register-motorcycle-license-plate-online-in-thailand There is online registration process, but you must have ThaID app (pink cards do not have a QR code that needs to be scanned). Can you recommend any easy way to register a motorcycle yourself? 🧑‍✈️ (dealers charge 2,000 baht for it)
  10. Bangkok outskirts, I went through several dealers, they all say the same thing, apparently they are sent instructions from the top office...
  11. I was going to buy a small Honda scooter today with cash, but I couldn't. Dealers require this list of documents 1. Visa 2. Work Permit (I'm a parasite and therefore I don't have a work permit) 3. Сonfirmation of residential address from the embassy (My pink card and driver's license already have the address confirmed but they want it a third time) 4. Motorcycle driver's license 5. Especially smart ones even requested fingerprints from the local office (amphur) Because of these two nasty points I was never able to buy anything even though I had cash... It seems to me that a few years ago everything was much simpler?..
  12. It’s useless to give a person any advice if he doesn’t understand computers at all. This is a hole from which it is impossible to get out.😥
  13. This "blacklist" really sounds funny. This means that any police officer can blacklist you if you don’t pay a parking fine and you won’t be able to fly out of the country. Or bank just call your airline and you won't fly away. Or the owner of the restaurant where you didn't pay for fries and ran away 🥲 Apparently this is an urban legend based on the belief that doctors are omnipotent because they can give life and take it away LOL

  17. Thais often write under the product picture that they are interested in (สนใจ). What the hell does that mean? 1. They want to buy a product. But why not just write: I want to buy, what payment method? 2. They are just interested in knowing what colors are and what smells. Why not ask this question directly??? I get the impression that they are not taught at school to ask the right, logical questions. So what exactly does this interest mean?
  18. Google maps?.. 🤔
  19. Izzy! Where did you get that awesome watch? -Dad sold it to me before he passed away! 😆
  20. I've already tried this. Dogs are afraid.
  21. pocket taser, about 500 baht (shopee, lazada)
  22. Why are they called volunteers, they earn money from this and this is their main job. I also wonder why their cars are always covered with Chinese characters as if we are in China?..
