  1. Any printer can do that
  2. Having said that, the boss cop's rationale is suspect, as you would be unlikely to fly the coop if the going sentence is only 10,000 baht or similar, and you have a Thai wife. Did they also make you pay the 20,000 at the station?
  3. That's couldn't care less, buddy.....
  4. I just completed this quiz. My Score 50/100 My Time 64 seconds

  8. Chameleon Harris? Surprised Drumpf didn't go for that one.
  9. What about in Phuket? Where should I look for a high-end sofa.
  10. It's 10,000 baht for the DTV extension. I guess I'm assuming everyone is like me -- I'd rather spend that money on a flight and take a holiday instead of giving it to immigration. It's not yet established what will be the cost of DTV extension. Most think it will be same as other visas, i.e. B1,900. Also if you travel out and back in within the 180 days, the 5 years visa will cost B10,000 total (ok plus travel costs).
  11. I certainly hope the DTV does allow consecutive multiple 180 day entries for the 5-year validity of the visa, but ........... But nothing: Section 3 Aliens who wish to apply for permission to enter the Kingdom as a special case under this Announcement shall apply for the visa of type "Special Tourist Visa (Destination Thailand Visa: DTV)". The visa can be applied for at Thai embassies or consulates abroad and is valid for an unlimited number of times within the five-year validity period of the visa.
  12. So basically if using extensions (cost not confirmed yet but either B10,000 or B1,900 prolly). You only have to leave every 360 days then return?
  13. This is a guesswork. Show us where you have seen that..... It says on the website that each (multiple) entry will be given 180 days....
  14. But you could be a retiree who wants a DTV for cooking classes or medical treatment for 5 years
  15. Is it 180 + 180 days max., or in and out for up to 5 years? Surely multiple entry just means unlimited in and out within the 180 + 180, and no further extension after max of 360 days? After all, it specifies ONE extension. Has anyone asked/clarified that question?
  16. Why is it "but not near Phuket"?
  17. Good to hear. Can't believe I've done nearly 2 years of LTR visa already. Thanks for the clarification.

Chern Tally? Have you never seen the actual name written anywhere?
  19. Sounds right. Just get one from either place.
  20. For someone who once lived there, you seem remarkably ill informed about the current situation.. Please elaborate the circumstances you 'imagine' which could lead to the return of the status quo as we once knew it.
