Awful. There's a wide proliferation of unlicensed guns and some unhinged people too in Thailand, not as many as in the USA, but this feels like a Hollywood nightmare. Let's hope they'll arrest the culprit soon before he commits worse.

Thailand, being a comfortable place to live with tolerant and patient people, attracts a lot of farang outcasts: talkative bores who brag, whinge, or spout nonsensical conspiracy theories. A lot of scammers too. I find Thai people a lot saner and more pleasant. -

Do you really never ride your scooter outside Bangkok? The air is cleaner in the countryside, yet I still notice lots of scooter and motorbike riders obediently wearing their covid face masks, often without a helmet. Pre-covid hysteria this wasn't really the case. Venture outside of the cosy comforts of the big city and educate yourself.
