  1. I'm surprised nobody has posted about this yet, but 30 Day Extensions can only be done 3-4 days prior expiry. I've been doing 30 days extensions for nearly 8 years in both BKK and Jomtien but now Jomtien is saying that you can only do it 3-4 days prior to the expiry of your stamp in your passport. I was told this at the queue ticket counter by the girls at the desk and I asked her why & said I've always done it a month prior to the expiry stamp date. She said I can ask at Counter 1. So I went to Counter 1 where they do 30 day extensions and the man said the exact same thing & "very sorry, now is high season". Is everyone else experiencing this at all different immigration offices or is this another Jomtien only BS they've recently introduced? (The last one was every time you enter on the same visa and stay at the exact same address already reported, you need to still report your same address AGAIN) Btw, this was for a multiple entry Tourist Visa, not a visa exempt stamp.
  2. Australia provides school bus transport to and from school & the train stations. None of this stupid ways the Yankees do it, stop on both sides of the road when kids get off the bus. Kids get off the bus, cars on both sides of the road keep driving like normal. No stopping and waiting for the school bus.
  3. Wonder if Kenny G had a work permit to work here, as we know that all foreigners need work permits to work in Thailand? I asked a question if anyone here was going to the Jazz Festival and also set up a Poll a few days ago but the mods here decided to delete my thread.
  4. Who the hell stops on both sides of the roads when a school bus stops? Only a stupid American thing from what I understand. Nowhere else in the world.
  5. Your friend is an idiot. Full stop. Time to get a new friend who has a few more brain cells than him.
  6. Wanted to make sure that I could last multiple rounds for one after the other without resting.
  7. My little fella works fine, but a few times when I tried Kamagra I get raging boners and very easy boners, even when taking half a sachet of the gel.
  8. So I guess Kamagra is the way to go for the dudes who can't get it up?
  9. Why would changing visas or coming in visa exempt have any issues on your current opened bank accounts? lol
  10. There are sooooo many here living with their Farang wives. Have you ever been to Jomtien? It's full of Russians with their Russian gf or wife and/or kids too.
  11. I wonder if this Taiwanese actress has a target on her head now, so now she can never enter Thailand ever again or face repercussions for her speaking out to the world.
  12. It happens all the time that cops who extort money from tourists all get jail time of multiple years?
  13. You don't need to cancel an ED visa. And as you said, yours is already expired on December 2022. I've got an expired ED visa in my passport from 2014 that has never ever been cancelled, and I've come back to Thailand sooooooooo many times since 2014 on other type of visas since then.
  14. Your gf is definitely smarter than you lol
  15. Of course he has to. He has to give you a copy of his Thai ID card or passport if it's a foreigner, the copy of the house book and title deed. All 3 of these things form part of the rental contract, all stapled together.
  16. Yes, it's based on certain products you buy. It's all written there very clearly under the product on the shelf where the price is as to how many stamps you will get. If you have eyes and can see, it's all there for you to read.
  17. I'm also interested in knowing which agents do 30 day extensions for 200-400 baht and only needing to spend 2x2 minutes at their offices. Please let us all know which ones they are as there seems to be a lot of interest, based on your claims.
  18. "Is there any solid advice on what to do?" Yes, there certainly is some solid advice. Tell your friend not come back if they can't stay here legally without overstaying their visa. Why is it always a "friend"? Can't the "friend" post themselves? Is she missing both her arms so can't type and ask herself?
  19. "Also, I didn't think a TM30 was needed for a 30-day extension, but she gave me what looks like a TM30 form, "Notification.... Residence". " Yes, it is needed, as I have stated multiple times before. You need to do it within 72 hours of arrival or you get a nice 1,600 baht fine from Jomtien Immigration. Others here have said it's not needed, but as you can see, it is definitely needed at Jomtien.
  20. Curious to know what actually happens if someone doesn't do that and just tries to exit then enter back into Thailand? Do they actually check your passport to see if you have a Laos visa and entry/exit stamp at the Thai entry side? Then if they see you don't they will then tell you to enter & exit Laos first?
  21. Does one actually need to enter Laos after exiting & getting stamped out of Thailand via Nong Khai, or can they just walk around to the other side and enter & get stamped back into Thailand?
  22. Or just called a Merc in Western countries. If you say Merc to a Thai person, they have no idea what you are talking about.
  23. It's a good question but nobody here seems to knows the answer to it.
  24. Can you register yourself on the TM30 as a tenant? If you have the rental contract and owners passport (foreign owner) and other details as part of the rental contract? Saves a trip to immigration
