Screening for HIV and sexually Transmitted Diseases in the elderly? Surely there might be some more common age related illnesses that they could target. -
Graduate Tae killed by 15 year old behind the wheel of a BMW

RIP. If justice is served as normal here then it will be compensation and nothing else. -
The Indian will be fined for ruining the good name of Pattaya by inferring that the hooker was a prostitute, when we all know that prostitutes don't exist in Pattaya. The Russian probably stole his gold from an honest Ukrainian, Slava Ukraine.

You can buy minoxidil tablets really rediculously cheap here at most pharmacies. I think the tabs I used to buy were about 120 baht for 50, much much cheaper than rogaine. I took them about 8 years ago for a year and grew my hair back and it was also much thicker, but it came with a downside. Firstly I had to take about 10 tablets a day, spread out through the day. Secondly I grew extra hair everywhere, including shoulders, back, asscrack etc so I started to feel overly hirsute. I took them with another tablet whose name I can't remember but that is a chinese herb that makes your hair grow back as it's original color, not grey and that tablet worked well as well. The pharmacies in Yowarat Area know the drug combination, it's popular with chinese. In the end I preferred not having to take these drugs, so I stopped taking the tablets after a year but believe me, these tablets did work a treat. About 3 months after I stopped taking them I was back to normal.

Face masks still mandatory on public transport, cinemas in Thailand
Aussieroaming replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The BTS announcement says wearing mask is recommended, not mandatory. Personally I wear the mask in order to be a compliant sheep because I realize that not wearing one makes some other commuters uneasy. But Thailand really does have to decide whether to let the mask thing go and get on with life. I go to a gym which is majority Thai and nobody wears a mask anymore and they are quite happy to cough all over each other. You would think that the cough and sniffers would stay away until their symptoms desist if their paranoia was that high, but it seems only to terrify Thai's if it's a foreigner coughing. -
I feel very sorry for these firemen who have very little in the way of PPE, training or equipment. Would be great if some ex firemen foreigners here could contact their mates in various countries to see whether any old but good fire equipment could be sent here as charity goods. Also some training opportunities similar to what the Aussie lifesavers do would be great. I am sure there must be some connected ex firemen here that could make a huge difference. After seeing those volunteer firemen seriously burnt last year on live television during the chemical fire in Eastern Bangkok, It was very apparent that their training and PPE was inadequate and they were overwhelmed.

Maybe this will incite more robust protests. Reality is that Prayut not being allowed to continue would have led to a power struggle between Anutin and Prawit, both of whom are oxygen thieves and Anutin hates foreigners.

15-year-old motorcyclist collides with dog and dies

RIP kid. Maybe one day Thai's will self regulate basic things like helmet wearing. Whilst they won't become extinct their traffic deaths do keep down the population growth. -

A long winded way to try and promote a YouTube video. -
I live in Saphan Kwai which is pretty much local and yet close to the inner CBD, with BTS and MRT access. Technically it is still inside the outer fringe of the CBD area. Many, many local restaurants in the area and only a 10 minute walk to Chatuchak Weekend Market and of course only 2 stops from Lad Prao Central. Victory Monument is another pretty local area a couple of stops closer to the inner CBD. Dusit is a lovely area to walk around as well if you get into the small soi's.

Anutin remains in the wings scheming, Prawit remains asleep in the tower waiting for a Prince to kiss him, Prayut is in his chambers practicing his sh it eating grin.

The people in that housing estate aren't wasting their life, but they are living off of the taxpayers, who waste their life working to keep public housing paid for.

Misprinted 20 Baht Polymer Banknotes In Circulation
Aussieroaming replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Excellent Quality Assurance. I am sure that a test note and print template would have been reviwed by the Client and Printing Firm together prior to the client's final sign off on the script of the new note before any print run was commenced. Who in Treasury has put their hand up to accept responsibility for signing off on the erroneous notes, nobody is my guess.
