Overhaul the education system to move away from a society where rote learning is the norm, to an education system that promotes free thinking, scientific development and innovation. Most of Thailands "intellectuals" merely parrot information accumulated and published in foreign scientific ànd academic white papers and journals. Start up companies are replications of similar start ups overseas. Thailand needs to think of focussing on down stream processing for future technologies. Next big thing is EV's and batteries. What comes after batteries or what complements that technology? In other words, start think ahead with the aid of understanding what large GDP countries are planning. Developed governments like America budget years in advance, including purchase of raw minerals and required products for their five or ten year planning and development. These budgets are listed in the public domain, so reading these budgets and understanding what commodities that the US has on its planning boards for development or stockpiling is a great way to "look ahead" at future commodity and manufacturing trends and aligning your countries industries in order to gain future windfall profit from that knowledge.

Of course you can, I have transferred more than $US1M over the last decade. I just used bank to bank transfer to ensure that all money was trackable and accounted for. -

Gen Prawit calls for proactive measures to curb road accidents
Aussieroaming replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If only General Halfwit was proactive himself. If he was then the issue with road accidents would have been proactively dealt with years ago. It's a case of the populous telling the politicians not to throw stones in glass houses. The politicians and police and military are all equally as lax as each other when it comes to adhering to road rules. No rules = chaos and death, which is exactly what Thai's contribute too on a daily basis. Make some simple road rules and then find a team that are willing to enforce them. The current road rules are obviously too difficult for the local populous to understand and adhere too. Don't bother asking the RTP to enforce the laws because those oxygen thieves are too busy conducting their corrupt activities and have failed to enforce road rules for years. -

Two motorcycle riders collide in Pattaya, one killed
Aussieroaming replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Probably one of them riding the wrong way and no helmets in evidence. It's hard to muster any sympathy for them when they all routinely break every road rule that they can. RIP to the dead rider. -
Let's not talk about the thousands of poorly paid migrant workers being used in processing factories all over Thailand. Are there too many powerful HiSo's involved in the abuse of these workers Internally for Big Joke to get involved? I can see a potential trip to Dubai coming up though, to scope out the international human trafficking.

More shelters and jobs to be created for the homeless in Bangkok
Aussieroaming replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
If the homeless people in my district are representative of the issue then more needs to be done in regards to mental health and substance abuse support. It's very apparent that many of them suffer with serious mental health issues and substance abuse problems.
