them home to isolate
....and you think they would stay home in quarantine????? ????????????
I reckon they would suggest not being sick because they were sent home from hospital.
So I think they are those spreaders forming new clusters. ????

Ireland is part of the EU, so if you have an Irish passport you need nothing to enter Spain except one of those European Vaccine Passports (aka, being vaccinated).
If you wanted to use your British passport, I believe there's a tiny bit of extra paperwork you would need to prepare. But I am not sure on this one.
Definitely NO.
As a Non-Eu member your Thai wife has to apply for a Schengen visa.

I wonder how the numbers are going to look today
Better ask: how the numbers should be today?
Or do you believe the reported cases gives a real picture of infected people in Thailand?
The less you test the less you'll find.
Easy as that. Fact ????

Yes...yes.. yes.. this is the way. Get the vaccines and its good to ooen. Dont open without vaccines, that would just be a recipe for failure. This is what the focus should be in that order. Vaccine and open.
recipe for failure?
That's what this government shows every day ????

the other 99% of thailand (that doesn't sell beer or p*ssy) begs to differ.
f f s prioritize those who risk their lives, not their wallets.
Well, but now here's the question:
Where to take the vaccines from?
Thailand's soldiers ordered them too late and even the wrong ineffective ones.
They ordered Biontech. Astra, Moderna or Johnson.
However, there is a long way to go between orders and deliveries.
Maybe early 2022 if you're lucky ????

Let the battle commence...... The winner is........the delta variant of covid. Fact ????

Once that cover runs out you would return to home country for Free National Health
Exactly! That is in my mind already. However, I save every month on a special account 350 Euro. Just for emercencies not worth to take a flight home. So it's roughly 150.000 Baht/year. Even this will cover most operation except final cancer.
But this case will be done in EU.

The problem with vaccinations is that having only one shot you're not protected but might get an infection. If you're lucky you wouldn't die.
In the time with one jab the virus could change even. We'll have a new variant.
Only 2 jabs will provide protection.
And I don't think the Indian variant will avoid to enter Thailand.
Having said that it's evident that Sinovac can't give you any significant protection against the delta variant.
So to open the country prior to a fully vaccination seem to be suicide. ????

I would be more than happy to do my part and receive my two jabs of AZ as I am over 60, but every mass vaccination site in Bangkok seems to be for "Thai ONLY". Being for one and not the other is "SEGREGATION" and "SEGRIGATION IS RACISM"!!!
The website for foreigners never worked correctly and it's down...
I agree with you. However, I suppose you are here in Thailand voluntarily????????

What I mean is it is useless to ask about any plans and dreams of this government to come true.

But left hand drive cars don't have the controls the other way round. Years ago a few Japanese RHD cars did have indicators on the right but very rare now. Before the days of electric windows, it was common to try and change gear with the window winder.
If you only look one way when pulling out, you have adopted Thai driving style (advanced). Always check both ways - wherever you are.
If you got problems then it's better for you to grab a Grab

Lots of villages up in sticky rice land have not even had their first dose, I was reading before in some village only 2 people have had a jab and one of them was a nurse,
And your point is...?
Are you so far away from your home country not to read or watch news?
Can't you remember how the pandemic started?
The only way to handle was indeed to start with restrictions.
And there was and still is a lack of vaccines. Thailand did it wrong just to wait but not ordering effective vaccines when EU or US did it. And to rely on China not only in vaccines is a special mess. The indian variant will come and Thailand will have no means to protect their people.

My wifes daughter got her her first dose (in Bangkok) now has to wait 12 weeks for the second one , just a joke in how the Government is dealing with the vaccinations .
No, that's OK. The interval should be 8-12 weeks. After 12 weeks AZ is very effective.

That is so overkill being at 9.5 times higher than any other country.
Potential buyers should need to be aware that if they do buy during a quiet time and all is wonderful, that once tourism opens back up they might just find themselves overwhelmed by busloads of people from one country being brought in using the joined bought units like a hotel. I have nothing against a single buyer renting out their unit for say like Airbnb or something similar, but the line should be drawn at tour groups being bussed in.
Besides seeing it in CM just while passing or the so many time when people from the USA would visit me and rent online units, once upon a time years ago my daughter was reception at a condo building near a popular mall. She can speak and write the language and even she would come back with stories of the noise and OMG. Officials just took a blind eye and deaf ear on it. So if their plan does work, it will probably fall back into investment groups being the major investors and not probably not single people on their own.
Chinese 729,972 (51.8%)
Russians with 76,624 (5.4%)
French with 57,541 (4.1%)
UK 56,337 (4%).
USA 41,767
Germany, Japan, India, Taiwan and Australia. Aprox 30,000 each
Some years ago I was looking for a Condo in CM. Lot of occasions. Breathtaking views from the balcony.
Finally I bought a house.
Why?
My wife checked out the offered condos and were contacting people living there.
Many owners were trying to sell because they were fed up with the noise of partying loud Russians or noisy Chinese cooking with open doors.
So to buy a condo as a retiree is a risky thing if you're hoping to find peace and harmony. ????????
