Indeed this should be a matter of concern, regardless of ones opinion on the matter of allowing the legal sale of cannabis. These business owners relied on the governments decision and invested money to set up shop, plantations, business connections etc, now to have these investments wiped out is unfair and morally wrong, it undermines confidence in future government decisions if one can't rely on the stability of the law. They must be reimbursed or face being sued.
