  1. I've noticed the deterioration in rates on the Clarity over many months, do you remember when it was better vs Wise i.e. similar to Wise?
  2. The rate used always agreed to the mastercard rate for that day, if they have a hidden fee making up the exchange rate that's something else, the rate has deteriorated vs Wise. 45.1 isn't good, on Monday 45.6 was available with Wise, approx 1% different
  3. Looks bad but even worse once it starts washing out. The black is the cheap colour the thai men use. Wigs are even worse, almost shocking men are so oblivious
  4. That's the goto place to solve crimes by police, thought everyone knew that?
  5. there will be CCTV outside 7Eleven
  6. The orange wan riders/drivers just need to get on Bolt
  7. Stick to the mopping job, story telling isn't a calling
  8. 10 hours later, still nothing from Wise, a nice reminder not to transfer too much in case there's a real problem. I managed to reset password online rather than the app, stupidly it wanted me to approve the password reset request in the app where i couldn't login, luckily i had alternatives set up, phone number and authenticator app, so sorted now
  9. 25 years ago was great as a backpacker hub, haven't been for about 20 years sounds like not worth it
  10. Problem with Wise is they seem to constantly change things, various reports of issues from people so more difficult to spot something fishy. Reinstalled the app and exactly the same
  11. When logging in using the app and Google it is now asking for a password (usually not required when using google), ok so a password doesn't work so i selected forgotten password then get token error, so obviously a bug. Anyone else get that?
  12. Yep, Lazada app night and day better than Shopee. I noticed Lazada has a new payment option QR Promptpay scan, they keep improving. Shopee doesn't even want feedback survey emails completed
  13. Correction it set at 26⁰, i had 23⁰ on the brain
  14. For a while i was waking up and my tongue was like Gandhi's flipflop, humidifier fixed that
  15. Lazada many makes available
  16. are you a shady farang?
  17. Definitely it can dry the throat, i had to buy a humidifier a few years ago. You need some moisture in the air
  18. I have the white Tefal one around 700 baht, has a cover which you need otherwise those Gecko things get inside
  19. My Shopee Pay stopped working, they wanted me to call them but i couldn't be bothered, Shopee isn't very user friendly so maybe a passport isn't good enough anymore
  20. i tried my new TCL on Dry mode and it set the temperature at 23⁰ no change in fan which was set on low, 1 bar. From what I've read dry mode only useful when temperature not hot but high humidity, which means not that useful for Thailand so i doubt I'll use it again
  21. ok find a link because every one i checked said it's cheaper
  22. Should be a whistleblower shady farang line, must be loads out there up to no good
  23. Only 27% fruit juice, how much Cranberries appears a mystery. Better to buy frozen cranberries 100%
  24. Except every post on google comes up with Dry mode being cheaper and more efficient due to the compressor working at lower speeds. But says only use Dry mode for short periods like a couple hours
  25. Speedtest seems to show speeds available in the area with your provider, it doesn't show what your actual speed is, testmy.net shows actual speed. That's certainly the case with mobile data, may well be the case for wired data but I'm not sure, either way i agree it's confusing, but streaming i use 10mbps no problem
