Yes it can be torture for many on bad days, but that doesn't mean good days don't happen. There are also other threads highlighting the problem. This is pre new building so maybe a happy ending

My Tefal is good for chicken drumsticks and proper chips (potatoes cut up with very little oil), I don't use it for anything else -

It's more about peoples attitude, some people expect help from staff, but get nothing. Fancy that, expecting staff that work there to be helpful, unbelievable. I witness rudeness from staff every time i go there, sad like the guy in his 80s mentioned earlier. But maybe their patience has been worn thin with the stress of it being too busy, but they like it that way

how likely depends on insurer and those insured depending on how honest they were at application time, any visits to hospital that can be tracked. I was just made aware of a recent court case where there was a claim denied resulted in a cancelled policy etc etc, the outcome makes me think a court case may be worthwhile
