When does it become time to put money aside in a separate account and self insure?
That's where the 800k in the bank non Imm O might come in useful for a medical emergency, will get them to treat you. Waiting to sell shares etc is too long

Induction cookers and frying pans?
Not for Induction though

When does it become time to put money aside in a separate account and self insure?
Those people with excluded pre-existing conditions will need to keep big funds for self insurance anyway, I wonder how many people do?

Strange Ears Problem
I would changes headphones to a lighter model or use earphones. Also get ears vacuumed by an ENT specialist, in Pattaya around 700 baht. If there's wax on the ear drum it causes weird sensations

Strange Ears Problem
ENT specialist said to me don't put water in your ears as it isn't clean, so cleaning whilst having a shower isn't a good idea

Electric baht busses for Pattaya......Good idea or Bad idea.....
This article is more recent and better, using London as an example. Basically motorcycles are better. I can't imagine smokey pickups are somehow better https://www.mag-uk.org/motorcycle-nox-emissions-are-old-motorcycles-really-highly-polluting/ "the standard set by TfL for NOx emissions for motorcycles is Euro 3 and specifically 0.15g/km. When we interrogate the spreadsheet we might expect that all pre Euro 3 motorcycles show an average in excess of 0.15 g/km at 30km/h to align with TfL’s position. However what actually find is that Pre Euro 1 <50cc mopeds, all 2 strokes, Euro 2 four strokes 250 – 750cc and all four strokes >750cc average below 0.15g/km. What is more, for the “dirty 2 strokes” that we all thought would be an issue, the modelled emissions are less than half the 0.15g/km standard!"

New 1 year DTAC 30mbps sim mystery
i had a DTAC unlimited speed 60gb a month sim, speeds where i live was around 30mbps so on expiry i bought the DTAC 30mbps unlimited data sim. Strangely in the same tablet it struggles to get 5mbps, but if i put in my phone it gets 30mbps. What's the reason for that? I'm thinking it's because the tablet only has 3G and 4G. Phone does show 4G+ sometimes. Strange as the tablet was getting 30mbps no problem previously

Aliexpress much better than a few years ago
I tend to avoid Aliexpress, it's a last resort as deliveries used to take months and sometimes never arrive, anyway ordered something a week ago, delivered very fast today, tracking excellent, once item entered Thailand it was handled by Flash and tracking and delivery very good, so now I'd be happy to order again

Land Property Tax
It's that time again, I've received the usual multiple bits of paper, but not bill yet. I assume the bill will follow like it did last year? I'm just surprised they just don't send the bill out

Koh Tao deaths and the mystery around them
This seems like the best place to discuss the whole koh tao death thing without people reporting as off topic. Sharlyn for example, the Japanese dive instructor. @Liverpool Louyou seem to know the details, pleas provide
