  1. Wonder how long before its a mass of rubble

    1 week, 1 month, 1 year, 10 years, Never ?

    TIT whistling.gif

A 1.07-million-baht contact has been issued for the Boy Ocean Star Co. to tear down the building, which has been cited numerous times over the years for the encroachment.

Someone has a big reason to make the building rubble. With a new sheriff in town there is a chance there will be action.

Now, next is the beach side buildings on walking street.

Yes that's only been going on 10 years plus

    But never say never thumbsup.gif

  2. Yes, I notice a BIG change.......NOT! :-( Still a stink hole with the usual number of pissheads out and about in the wee hours of the morning running the red lights as if it were green???? Same shit, different day, eh! :-(

More do that all day long sober. thumbsup.gif but no one cares. coffee1.gif

  3. Yes AND like mentioned here, no questions were asked at all regarding the info nor was it checked so do with it as you please for now, using blanks or lines or I simply put N.A.

    N/a is accepted today.

Tomorrow it may not be. What will you all say, pixx off ?

    Tomorrow always comes in Thailand.

  4. This don't sound to good.

anyone else had this yet at Jomtien immigration ?

There have been sporadic reports of similar forms from other immigration offices throughout Thailand but I think this is the first report from Jomtien.

Nothing to be alarmed about...the op states he just put down his address, like always required in the old form, and nothing more. It sounds like things may be easier after as apparently the proof of address doesn't have to be provided for future reports.

No need to read into it more than there is.

Thank you for your opinion , but its not required. coffee1.gifcoffee1.gifcoffee1.gif

Any requirement for more paper work is a pain.

Give it a few more years and they will require your finger prints.

im sure that will be fine for all bah.gif

  5. The very first step is to find a Thai women who truly loves and respects you. If there's too much of a financial component to the relationship you can forget it. Good luck finding it. The men that these ladies normally fall in love with are young, good looking Thai men who are usually broke. These are the kind of guys the girls will kill themselves for. These are the kind of guys you could be supporting if you get serious about a Pattaya girl.

I think one of the first steps is to find a lady who supports herself, and any family financially

with out bars and sponsors. ( a real job )

    Don't every forget

    Money Number One. thumbsup.gif

  6. Came for 5pm dinner. Still very quiet today.

No customers at the Hawaiian restaurant. The employee said they are not closing.

The snow cafe had 1 couple (not us).

Sorry mate to tell you this but in picture 2

maybe there could be a moustache. w00t.gifgigglem.gif

  7. My Thai is intermediate and I don't have a problem to have a conversation with what you call "lower class people" from the northeast.

I don't judge people by how much money they've got and I'm not looking for a woman to get married.

I've had enough relationships in my life and I'm not such a dumbass some of you guys might think I am.

I am well -educated and do not need to ask my friend to buy me a beer. You won't see me in the regular bars, or Go-go bars in Pattaya.

It's quite annoying to read some posts here. Thank you very much for your input.

No bars, no Go Go bars, makes Jack a dull boy.

cant have that, go have some fun , enjoy life, fill your boots.

    its great thumbsup.gif

  8. One thing i do like about Thai culture is the way

they take care of there elderly parents in the family home right to the end if possible.

We from the west mostly put them in old peoples homes or get some

form of home help letting them struggle on, so we can carry on with our lives.

Well done people of Thailand for that one. thumbsup.gif

Ps Government do very little in Thailand on this issue in the way of help.
