  1. They should not spend millions of baht on any project that requires maintenance unless they have an airtight contract that specifically requires maintenance and funds to support it. They can’t even get the roads and sidewalks done properly and maintained. Just another way to make money off the people.
  2. Found a great deal on one on Facebook marketplace. You definitely need to take it to a shop to check it out, but there are some good deals if you’re patient.
  3. Dr. Sim hai has been doing it for years at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital and has a great reputation. I’ve had several friends and family who have used him for super sight and cataract surgery over the last 15 years or so. Good luck.
  4. Very sick minded man. I hope they don’t let him off too easily. He’s definitely got some serious mental issues going on.
  5. Tyson needs the money and this will pay well, win or lose. Hopefully he is better with his money this time.
  6. So they were okay going to Pattaya for working at a call center? I can’t believe that they didn’t know what they were getting into. Just the wrong location. Send them back home and please go get the rest.
  7. If she found out that her account was used for illegal activities, then why didn’t she contact the police then? Glad they caught her and sorry about grandma losing all of that money.
  8. If the high end hotels would increase their salaries for their employees , maybe they would get more staff. They certainly are making enough money and are apparently busy. So they need to pay more and train them accordingly if they want to succeed. Up to them. As far as the lower end Foreign(Chinese) run hotels, it’s nothing new and as long as it lines the pockets of a few Thais they will never go away. The zero tours have never stopped, just hidden under some paperwork.
  9. I hope she gets it insured and puts in her safe so she doesn’t forget it anywhere else. She got lucky this time.
  10. I’m sure that he has already handed out several brown envelopes before his lawyer contacted the police. Doubt we’ll hear much more about him.
  11. Very sad but unfortunately it happens all too often there.
  12. At least most people who need an urgent pee stop while traveling do it roadside. Disgusting act to piss on the seat.
  13. A bunch of sick perverts. I hope that if this happens the girls/women will figure out a quick and easy “till death do us part” potion.
  14. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash and will take legal action as necessary. ??? Um, reckless driving causing loss of control and death. I guess maybe they are waiting to see if there will be any brown envelopes coming before they decide to take legal action.
  15. The sooner he’s gone the better. They need change, not sure if they’ll get the right person to change things, but hopefully it’ll be better. Prawit can barely raise his head any more. I doubt he will continue to raise his hopes up. That was a slaughterhouse vote and hopefully an eye opener for him.
  16. Probably a good idea, however, I think they need to allow the baht to appreciate or depreciate according to international markets. They control how the Baht moves alone. This can easily cause big problems for everyone. They don’t want a crash like 97, but want all of the tourists, investors and home buyers it created in the golden years following it. They need to find a balance.
  17. Well he took the risk and unfortunately it didn’t pay off. No one to blame but himself. Hopefully he recovers and learns from his mistake.
  18. For some reason I think that the 15% interest rate must have been monthly. If it was annually it was not that high at all compared to many other loan sharks.
  19. If I was a bee or wasp I’d have done the same. What do they expect when they blast the music while parading down the street. They need to go back to traditional music with No speakers. It annoys everyone and every thing. Sadly they burned them. I’m sure they did not even think of the consequences. No honey and less pollination. Stupid is as stupid does.
  20. They really need to get a second driver to take over when the other driver gets sleepy instead of just chugging down several Red Bulls
  21. Could be many things from a bit of food poisoning to E. coli. Just have to wait for the test results and go from there. I’m just a bit surprised that they are allowing everyone back before they know the cause. But TIT
  22. I hope they throw the book at him. He can’t deny it as it is on video. Plus fighting with the flight attendants. Pure trash.
  23. I’m sure they will find him, however the chances he has a license and insurance is another story.
  24. Well I’m glad that they are starting to shut down the illegal Chinese and Indian businesses. I just hope that some Thai companies will take over the recycling business, however, I doubt that many would. It’s just not in most Thais mindset. They definitely need more recycling education and plants, but I fear it’s still a long way off.
