Uploading of self test results on Morchana app
jcmj replied to Barry864's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
I arrived a couple days ago as well. Received the test kit, told to take a photo and send it. Where? Ughh. I did download the morchana app but still don’t see it there. Any advice would be appreciated for all. -
I just arrived a couple days ago and I see more Thais not wearing masks than Foreigners. They always twist the truth here. I guess that’s the norm. Farangs bad. Thai good. ????????????

Eateries in Bangkok can serve alcohol until 11pm from December 1
jcmj replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
They are trying to keep Pattaya desperate and failing to support the business here so they can come in and change the image. Sad we have less cases and they still won’t budge. Prayut obviously hates Pattaya and just waiting for its demise. -
Cost of 24 hr test and wait process
jcmj replied to notrub's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Well doesn’t seem to expensive in Thailand for the PCR test. Mine in the states just cost me $170. You can get them cheaper if you want to risk it being back within 72 hours. Mine done and out in 20 minutes. -
It was very straight forward and easy for me to do this last week. Just took photos of all documents and uploaded. Very easy. Received my QR code 4 days later. Did my PCR test yesterday and fly tomorrow. So far no big hassle. We shall see what happens when I get there. I think the changes they made must have worked. If you can’t figure this out then maybe it’s better to stay home.

Thai telecom regulator worried about True-Dtac tie-up but cannot prevent it
jcmj replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Hello Thaskin. Are you listening to this????????????? -
If you go to a private hospital it is very easy to obtain all of your medical records. I just sent an email and had to send back a signed release form and ID and they sent them right over to my personal email. Just depends on the facility I suppose.

Will a Thai vet put dog to sleep
jcmj replied to Bluetongue's topic in Plants, Pets & Vets in Thailand
So sorry to hear about your loss. We had a 17 blind, deaf dog who was so bad at the end just going around in circles and we could not find a vet to put him down. I felt so bad as we had to watch him waste away. Thank God he’s in doggy heaven now and free from all the pain and misery. Always regret looking harder and trying to convince a vet to put him down but the ones we went to wouldn’t do it. At least now we know there are some out there should this happen again. -
Thai tourism won't recover without the Chinese, says top bank analyst
jcmj replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If they wouldn’t keep treating the US and UK like they are <deleted> and worthless maybe they would see the numbers rise to pre Chinese era. Now the Foreigners are treated poorly and always the blame when <deleted> happens. -
TM30 reporting for visa extension
jcmj replied to Dennis133's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
What if I’m coming back home for a visit on regular US, no special visa, passport and then extension for an additional 30 days. The house is in Company name which I am listed. Never had the issue before as I lived there for 17 years with a WP. Now just a visit for 2 months then coming back in June to retire. thanks. -
I’m coming on the 28th. I’ve been awake too long and it’s a lot cheaper than expected for the hotel, test and taxi. 4,700 baht. Not complaining at all. We’ll see how it goes once I get there, but going to see family not the bars.

It’s gonna be one hell of a roller coaster ride. Brace yourself.

Non O expat in USA wants to return to Thailand
jcmj replied to LALes's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
So what about your place of residence? I’m coming back and have a house in Pattaya. How do I list that or show immigration where I will be staying as it is not a hotel as suggested upon entry?
