Ah well it could be worse I suppose.
Picky, but the bridge depicted is Tower Bridge not London Bridge. But then Tower Bridge looks more attractive for the kids.

Some posters want to tell you what to do. I want to ask you what do you want? Do you want a partnership? Or do you want an arrangement? IMO, if you stay with her it will be an arrangement.
I love a smart arse!

A truly great piece of history which in many ways can still bring it's wisdom to the world after 800 yrs, but do they listen do they <deleted>
They hear, but they do not listen.

Ready! Steady! Go! Her before you maybe.

I sleep with one every night. A bit of a change wouldn't come amiss.

Even if you fitted rear set belts, would they be used?

Here's another angle..............................
Guy was working at property near the old woman's house. He seen the empty property and thought to himself, "might be something in there worth stealing."
Goes to the house and has a look around. Finds skeleton of lady and panics. What BS reason can I give for being on the property, he thinks.
Ah! the old ghost told me BS.
And so he makes this crap up and more worryingly......... The BIB believe him
Oh come on. Enter in to the spirit of things.

Damn librarians, cooking the books....oh,sorry Liberians, that's different then.
If it had been librarians they would have had the book thrown at them.

When the wife refuses to pull the plough.

Had some workers at my house over the weekend and loaned them a few tools, a decent spirit level, a sharp saw, cement trowel, etc. Each day before they left, they made a point of separating my tools from theirs and pointing them out to me. They even returned a pencil. I was quite suprised as like you I have loaned tools to workers before only for the tools to disappear.I had labourers working in my house with crappy tools, an old nail and a brick to hammer broken plaster off the walls, it would be fixed for free, warranty.
I gave them a real hammer, chissel and pizza, cold pepsi, cigarettes..
When they were gone the tools were missing as well. Later they had to work at another house in the street, i went there and of course they used my tools (which even had our house# in it marked).
Another company, for steel bars had done our whole house for 60k baht. 6 months later my wife called them to build a carport and some small roofs from stainless steel. (total job for 100k baht). The guy made an appointment but didn't show up. We made a new appointment with him but after 2 hours waiting we just went out without seeing him.
Ive used this builder before and there has never been any problem, yesterdays crew were folk Id never seen before, Ive often lent the old crew stuff and had it back but this lot are just taking the piss.
Its kinda sad that you give them some drinks some fruit and some fish and they do this.
Unfortunately it makes me treat all of them now without a thought.
I think the builders are also pretty busy and really round here dont care at all if they walk off a job as another one is waiting.
Yes they have plenty of work, same here. Also i see them not finishing jobs so they can start a new job and that owner can't take another company anymore.
2 sisters in our street had their new kitchen + house-extension never finished. They had to rent another builder to finish it, i don't know why though.
Also other houses around here still have the scaffolding standing for a year, wheelbarrows and materials in the frontyard and the builders won't come back. Now i see that house for sale since a year, just the way they left it. Also there i don't know the story behind it.
At the lake here there a big warningsigns that fishing is prohibited because constructionworkers liked to fish there and drink beer after work.
In the moobaan where a friend of us lives there was a constructionworker from Myanmar who raped a thai actress in her new house. He got arrested for that. Be carefull with those guys.
Burmese rapist! What next!

Maybe she was going to a Halloween party and taking some spirits?

Just two nights ago I had a bad case of Bangkok Belly. Severe stomach pains, and the world falling out of my bottom. I had eaten local beef, barbequed, rare and tough as a rookies boot. Even though the experts say that hemorrhagic septicemia is not passed on to humans I am sceptical. After many tears of inuring my stomach against the assault of exotic Thai foods and thinking that nothing could survive my alcohol stream I was brought down. Was it the beef/buffalo?

Come on! Thailand is not always a bit dodgy on logos. Look at 'Amazing Thailand!' Surely that sums it all up?

I recall, while visiting Wimbledon Wat in the UK I wandered around the grounds and noticed texts nailed to trees. One of them said 'Before you critisise others, first look at yourself'. Good advice, but surely questioning something that you don't understand is permissible, without criticising. I could not find any reference to ghosts in the OPs story.

I don't give a kangaroos fart. After wading through mud, and wading through throngs of happy firework throwing celebrators over the years, I have put my foot down with a firm hand and now my wife sets off with my grandson to float their kratongs without me. They don't have to listen to my moaning and I can have a bit of time contemplating my navel and the future of civilization as we know it. They are happy, and don't have to listen to me saying "I'll whip that kids arse if he takes the five baht from my kratong!

Awful story.
I certainly hope the parents didn't demand money as compensation instead of going to the police right away.
In our village, there is a 14 year old girl who goes around sleeping with adults, and then the next day her father has somehow found out about it and demands 30k from the guilty man. This has been going on for 2 years now. Absolutely disgusting.
If you now this as fact why don't you do something about it?? Evil will thrive if good men do nothing.

At my age, if they can find it they can have it. I already sit down to pee

I have grown avocados from stones and one is now about ten years old and about 12m tall. I'm a bad (read lazy) gardener and just let them get on with it and let nature take its course. Maybe that is why they have never produced fruit?

What will a second test prove if the first one was fabricated?
Are they saying that the lab got it wrong?
Or are they looking for a way out?
There is a possibility that the DNAs were switched possibly.

Try making it yourself. I have done. It wasn't half bad. Recipes on Google.

When you consider that Khun Barnharn, one of Thailand's ex top politicians remarked that 'If a snake or Indian crosses your path, kill the Indian'! With that wonderful example of racism what can you expect? I am afraid it is very common here. Not just against foreigners but against Thais from different parts of the country. Very sad, and shows their ignorance.
It's a traditional Thai saying, he just repeated it (although the translation is wrong).
It actually translates as "If you encounter a snake and an Indian, strike the Indian first"
If you consider it is OK for repeating it perhaps it is OK for anyone to repeat any racist saying?

Interesting! My Thai wife and I have a joint account which enables either of us to draw funds. Should either of us pop off will the survivor still be able to access the account?
It seems Garryp has answered my question.
