Even more relevant, is it easy to fix during a storm when the ship just won't stay still ( EVERYTHING breaks, and usually at the worst possible moment )?
You mean when the ship is being naughty and doing what ships do when afloat?😉 But modern tanks now have sights that stay locked onto a target. Not like the Cromwell I was on in the early 50s. Happy days.

In three years? Maybe three years too late. Will the Royal Navy have any manned ships in three years? A report I read recently said that crews could not be mustered to man the Destroyer support ships for the British Aircraft Carrier and it couldn't put to sea. How embarrassing. Britannia rules the waves.? What a joke. 1938 all over again. Caught with our trousers down.😒

There's loadsacash to be made from developing weapons even if they don't actually work.
Such as the GT200 bomb detector that didn't work and was a scam. It fooled the Thai military government who spent millions on a device reportedly containing no inner workings. I wonder who made money ordering them?🙄

So. He being an Interior Ministry Official. Shouldn't the Interior Minister direct his call for justice, without bribery be directed at this case instead of interfering in the Swiss alleged kicker's case? Or is this another example of a two tier justice system? The Interior Minister has made his feelings towards dirty farangs very clear..

Was the donated sand for anyone to take away, or was he being naughty? R.I.P.

Well, technically he didn't expose his wiener to anyone, as no-one can possibly see it due to the gigantic overhanging belly he is sporting.
I doubt that he has seen it for some time.

My mother aged eighty eight died here in the year 2000. She was cremated after three days in the local Wat, with a gathering of Thai family and farang friends at a local resort. Most of her ashes were scattered in Sattahip Bay and some were taken back to England by a friend to be scattered where my fathers remains are. He died in 1953. All very inexpensive. My family, Thai and English, are aware of my wishes that are the same as what happened to my mother. I will join her in Sattahip Bay and some of my remains will go back to England to be scattered where my first wife's are who died in 1982, to give my English family a place of remembrance of their parents. I'm aged ninety now so it wont be long before its put to the test. But just not yet. I'll let you know how it goes. 😉

There's so many red flags in this article it's kind of hard to process it.
Some people have seizures every day, sometimes multiple times each day, especially if they decide not to take their medication for one reason or another.
I can understand that those around them are scared but for the person who suffers from epilepsy / whatever it is that causes the seizures it's a day to day thing.
They don't need massaging or their chest pumping, those morons could have killed the poor guy.Had they left him alone he may well have been ok after a bried period of recovery.
I had a friend who used to fall to the ground and bounce around for a minute or two every now and again while having a few beers, he had epilepsy, he just told us in advance that there's no need to do anything when it happens apart from make sure he doesn't bang his head into a wall while he's seizing......Morons? What an idiotic statement. They were trying to help. Maybe not experts on assisting those with a medical problem as you seem to be.😣

How not to behave when travelling! What on earth was his problem!!
It was reported that he said " I must get lodgings that has a longer bed. Looking at my picture when sitting in the cops pickup, I realised that using the short bed during a short time is ruining my hair."😉

Hooker killed by Ambassador on diplomatic passport.
Well done Watson. Surmising? Even if correct, are hookers down the list for police response time?

Is the value and location important? What is important is the police response thirteen hours after the report.

Surely, anyone found guilty of a criminal offence should be banned from being a politician. But if the offence occurred in a foreign country for smuggling flour and was sent to prison it
doesn't matter.😉

Almost all bars, not that I go to bars, put your active bar tab in the little cup (check bin) right in front of you when you drink.
On the "few Occasions" that I do go the a bar, I check my tab as each drink is served. It is a simple thing to do and there will be no surprises when it is time to pay. I only drink on two occasions....either when I am with somebody or when I am alone
What other occasions are there?😉

Why does it matter if he is an engineer? Would it be different if he was a salesman? A pilot? An office clerk?

I have lived in Chiang Mai for over 7 years and “ I will never understand the local people”. Recently the following interactions have occurred:
1. Went to a well known clinic that is part of a major hospital for a bood test. The clinic opens at 0700 and I showed up exactly at that time. All the employees seemed upset that I showed up at 0700. Got the blood test done but the cashier had not come to work yet. This made the employees ever more upset. I waited until 0800 when the cashier showed up and paid for the blood test. The clerk then slammed the receipt on the counter. I later found out that the clinic employees get to the spend the first hour relaxing because most patients do not show until at least 0800. I guess “ it was my mistake for showing up when they opened”?
2. Used to go to a gym that opens at “0700”. During my time at this gym they would open at 0730, 0800, 0900 and once at 1200. I asked the employee and eventually the manager about the inconsistent opening times and all got was a smile but no answer. I found another gym shortly after.
3. I recently booked a Grab car. When the car arrived I entered and slipped on the floor mat and hit my head on the door frame. The floor mat had a slipperysubstance and when I pointed this out to the driver she started laughing. I guess this was funny to her. The slippery substance looked like Armour All?
Is admitting to a mistake and apologizing to a foreigner not possible?
Now now, Mother. Settle down.😉

In thirty seven years here I've never had aircon. Fortunately the house is built on stilts and we get plenty of air flow. Even so, the fans are working where needed. Especially at night. I wonder how much I've avoided paying for electricity in that time.😉

Of course. I was being facetious. I was referring to the arrest and detention of a group of farang Bridge players a few years back. Some of them quite elderly. The police used the excuse that they were using more than one pack of cards? Not being a Bridge player I wouldn't know. Barry Kenyon would. He had a front seat as I remember.
