  1. No need for contact details for this process. When you get to the building where you stamp out, you’ll see two windows on the side. First, you need to go to the end window and let them know you want to come back the same day. Just hand over your passport and 2,000 baht. They’ll stick a sticker in your passport and ask to see your TDAC details. After that, you’ll need to go around the corner to stamp out. The immigration officer there will give you a ticket number that you’ll show to the Malaysian side so they know to stamp you in and out. Then, head back to stamp in without any fuss (that’s how it’s been for me). Hope this helps 👍
  2. Yes, the 'Fee' is for same-day bounce and costs 2000 baht.
  3. Update: I was at the Wang Prachan border over the weekend, the only thing that changed was they asked to see my TDAC QR code when I paid my 'Fee' the rest went smoothly as usual.
  4. I've never done it that way but never had any problems at the Wang Prachan border going out and coming back in the same day on visa exempts. The 'Fee' is 2000 baht, but you pay this on the Thai side. You should be fine without the service if you're already in Malaysia and want to come back in.
  5. Border run with Malaysia at the Wang Prachan crossing point near Hat Yai, sorry I forgot to add that part. Has anyone been there this month yet?
  6. If you're used to an 'easy border run' regarding 'out and in' the same day for a small 'fee' can you please let me know if things are all as usual? Thank you kindly
  7. Married 12 years, 2 kids, I pay the bills, she cooks, cleans etc etc, without me paying her, she's one of the lucky ones!
  8. In my first post, I highlighted MOT's Facebook. Sorry for hiding their details; I thought it was necessary
  9. So it's still business as usual for visa services to help with New Non O Retirement Visas, renew current Non O or Non OA visas? If the answer is yes then you can close this thread.
  10. Maybe something to do with this. Pattaya Mail Authorities are investigating over 200,000 suspected mule accounts and have prosecuted 820 cases linked to illicit financial activities. More than 20 government agencies are involved in the nationwide operation, including the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, provincial administrations, immigration authorities, customs offices, and the Royal Thai Police.
  11. I follow a few visa service providers on Facebook and came across a post from one of them stating that they can no longer assist with certain services. Does anyone know why this is the case? " Breaking News For Retirement Visa Holders in Pattaya. Due to new changes in banking policy it is not currently possible to open new Bank Accounts for tourist visa or entry on arrival stamps. Also we are not able to assist you to make New Non O Retirement Visas or renew current Non O or Non OA visas in some cases. We are hoping for a quick resolution to this problem. We will notify you immediately when this changes. Mots Services are still providing Driving Licence services, 30 & 60 Day Tourist Visa Extensions and other immigration services. 12. Try looking under the toilet, if there's an adjustable tap to turn the water off, adjust it a little to reduce the water flow / pressure.
  13. Hello chaps, I’ve been thinking a lot about the current visa requirement of 400,000 baht in a Thai bank account to qualify for staying with your family. While I understand the need for rules and regulations, I feel this particular requirement can be a significant challenge for families like mine. As someone who has been living here for many years, raising children and contributing to the local community, I wonder if this policy could be reviewed to better reflect the realities of modern families, don't get me wrong It feels, in some ways, that this requirement might unintentionally exclude people who are committed to Thailand but don’t meet the financial threshold. I believe there could be alternative ways to ensure fairness and inclusivity while maintaining the integrity of the Thai system—perhaps assessing individual cases based on overall contributions and circumstances, i.e proof of payments for things like rent etc rather than just financial benchmarks. I’d love to hear others’ thoughts on this, especially if you’ve experienced or overcome with similar challenges. Let’s discuss how these policies impact real families and whether there might be room for positive change, it's open air and just putting it out there...I'm no poet lol Thank you for your time and for considering my thoughts.
  14. Update From This Border My 2nd Visa Exempt this year, and all went smoothly. I paid the "Fee" of 2000 baht and was given a ticket number and a complimentary umbrella because it was raining...which was nice. Was stamped out, walked over to the Malaysia side and gave them my ticket number and passport, the IO stamped both in and out and was told I can go back now. No problems stamping back into Thailand and nothing said to me by the IO officer.
  15. Don't eat heavy carb meals after 6pm. Try to limit your alcohol drinking to weekends, if it's a factor. Hot full fat milk an hr before bed does wonders. I used to get panic attacks and started on fluoxitine 20mg back in 2018. You can get it here at the some local pharmacies. It's helped me. I've noticed a huge improvment in my sleep since I lowered my alcohol intake.
  16. Hello, Are there any recent reports, are things still the same since I was last there?
  17. He Don it again.
  18. No MDAC needed to enter Malaysia at this border, it was requested months ago because I put a post up about it but they've stopped it for now. The "Fee" of 2000 baht to come back the same day is paid on the Thai side at Imm departures, no agents are involved.
  19. My last Non-O multiple entry 90-day stamp expired this month, so I traveled to the Wang Prachan border in Satun to obtain a 60-day Visa Exempt. I explained that I wanted to return on the same day and was informed that a fee of 2000 baht was required. After paying the fee, I received a ticket number which I had to present on the Malaysia side and again on the Thai side upon arrival. Everything went smoothly. I inquired about the frequency of doing this, and I was told that currently, I can do it as many times as I want, but the rules may change in the future. I hope this information is helpful to some of you!
  20. Still on my 90-day stamp from a Multi Non-O so I haven't been back there yet but need to go back at the end of this month. So if you or anyone goes to Wang Prachan before then can you update me on the latest please, cheers
  21. Has anyone been to the Wang Prachan border in Satun recently, can anyone confirm if the "Fee" still needs to be paid to come back the same day on Visa Exempt?
  22. The Satun border about 2hrs from Hat Yai has been okay for me on my Non O multi. I was there last month again. I've never had to pay to do a border hop on the same day BUT they did charge me 1300 baht when I was on Visa exempt to come back the same day. Has anyone been there recently on Visa Exempt is that still the case?
