I agree with your comment to use continue without conversion. The rates are really bad plus there is a fee added to it. I used to use ATM to get my money from overseas. But each time I was losing 3000 - 6000 baht per transaction. That is ridiculous. Now I just use Wise to make a free transfer with no fees and I lose about 500 baht per transaction.

In the US.. Many small Universities lost their accredited status when they began having online classes to get more students. They have not gotten their accredited status returned to them since. Many students attending those schools went when the school was accredited but now since most people only check the current status of accrediting for the schools. Many people find their degrees are worthless now. It is an unfair practice. China accepts legitimate degrees still and requires documents proving the degree are real. Whereas Thailand only checks online to see if the school is accredited. I am not saying this lady did not buy her degree. She most likely did. But many other people lost out on good positions because of the accredited status.

Odd how this story says nothing about the implications of affect this inquiry will make on Thaksin himself and his returning to prison. I would like to know how much weight this hearing will have on the outcome of Thaksins case. Even if the doctors all approved the treatments and medicine, was it necessary for him to remain hospitalized for the whole length of his prison sentence and conveniently be ready for discharge at the end of his sentence?

What farce? Thailand is trying to take what the international courts say belongs to Cambodia. Now Thailand is trying to put up a fence to block Cambodia. They should worry that these thousands are showing up to support Cambodia in their fight against Thailand for this temple. It shows Thailand as well as Cambodian troops that the people support the laws as well as supporting the military in their fight to keep this temple and land that Thailand is trying to take from them.

Where is the vdo? I would bet the police did not even attempt to see if the claim was true or not. Since Pattaya now has cameras almost everywhere, surely there is VDO proof and even if the Jap chose not to file a report. Attempted robbery is still a crime and can be punished.
