JFK assassination papers declassified !
thesetat replied to dinsdale's topic in Off the beaten track
You mean like what happened during with Harris? Whereas the people were so entranced by Harris running for Prez that they blindly voted for her? I think you believe people are too stupid to see more than one thing at a time. Nothing will blind the people to what Trump does. There are too many like you that are just waiting for the opportunity to ounce on what he does. If anything, they will be looking at him more closely if the documents begin to point fingers at corruption within the agencies that were supposed to protect him. -
Old news... New news is as quoted from Google AI.. China has significantly increased its financial support to the World Health Organization (WHO), particularly during periods when other major powers like the United States have reduced their funding, positioning itself as a key player in global health governance and reiterating its commitment to the organization's authority on the international stage; this includes contributing additional funds to the WHO during the COVID-19 pandemic when the US withdrew support. Key points about China's increased support for the WHO: Financial contribution: China has become one of the largest contributors to the WHO budget, often stepping up its funding when other nations decrease theirs. Global health leadership: China views its increased support for the WHO as a way to solidify its role as a global leader in health matters. Strategic positioning: By backing the WHO, China aims to promote its image as a responsible global power and advocate for multilateralism in health issues.

Lawyer criticised for opposing equal marriage in Thailand
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Yep... and if they keep it, they will continue to have a future population problem with many old and not so many young Thais. They are digging themselves in a hole for wokeism. I really hate that what you say against this topic is immediately complained about by those who support it. They can say anything bad about people who are not gay or in a same sex situation... But those people are not allowed to say what they think about this wokeism B.S. -
Bangkok fights smog with free public transport for a week
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
That is not a bandaid even... Tell someone to choose between standing on the street or on a platform and wait for public transportation free in the smog and heat or drive their nice air-conditioned car and they will ultimately choose their car. This is not even a choice to most people who own a car. The only people it will help are those making little to no money who usually take the public transportation already. -
Bangkok's Air Crisis Escalates: Fourth Worst Globally for Pollution
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
That is a good thing for Thailand. They can boast yet another place at being #1 in the world. They love these claims and it always hits the news. Perhaps Thailand can use this #4 place for their advertising in tourism... haha... maybe some will want to see how bad it really is.. -
Never fear. China will be there to fund them with more money as long as they continue to comply with Chinas interests as they have done previously. The US knows that the WHO failed in their mission by spouting the Chinese rhetoric during Covid and failing to warn the planet of the real dangers of Covid. It is understandable that the US wants to remove itself from such a corrupt organization bent only at appeasing the CCP.

DSI investigates possible tampering in Tangmo’s death case
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
This woman is the one who supposedly fell off the back of a moving boat whilst peeing. They claimed she got caught under the propellor and mangled. Interesting thing about it is that some of the other people on the boat were her agent and her best friend. Who apparently( upon arriving to the dock) went home casually before contacting the police. No grief or waiting for the police to find the body and question them. (Wife is telling me about this) I saw some videos of various Thai women testing the claims about if you can get caught under the propellor if you fall off the back of the boat in a position bent over while peeing. Given the boat is moving, it would be almost impossible to be dragged into the propellor this way. Also interesting was that on the inside of one leg there was a straight line sliced down her leg. Doctors argued that this is also impossible from a moving propellor. Yet, the police deemed it as accidental death. It would not surprise me if some police were paid off to turn their heads the other way and ignore some basic facts about the case to conclude it was accidental. -
Lay-offs are imminent for cut-backs to happen in the Gov spending. These people hired simply because they are trans or woke got out of hand. It had nothing to do with qualifications and experience to get the jobs done as seen with the current Fire Chief in LA. Also, lay-offs does not mean paying them without coming to the office. Lay-offs will allow them to claim unemployment and benefits and assistance to find another job. That is all. By the way, Trump also said this in his interview about signing the decree. As it also was said it is within his legal right to lay off anyone he chooses in the working GOV. So there will not be any pain and suffering compensation as you claim.

If they are really here as you say. Then they would not need to be given power to do those things. That does not mean they could not kidnap you and take you to a secret place for interrogation and deportation. An interesting read here about this topic. https://www.khaosodenglish.com/opinion/2021/04/24/opinion-cia-agents-in-thailand-please-raise-your-hand/ History taught us that the CIA most likely operates in Thailand, just like in any other foreign states. WikilLeaks claims that a rendition operation took place in Thailand during Thaksin Shinawatra’s administration. This is the ‘nature’ of superpowers, that likely includes today’s China. Southeast Asia is a major contested region between the U.S. and China. It’s most likely that both nations actively operate in Thailand. Funny how very few ask who might be spies or informants working for China in Thailand. In the end, this is about the lack of trust among conspiracy theorists. Those accusing Streckfuss of being a CIA operative alleged that the man is behind young northeastern political activists, chiefly Jatupat ‘Pai Dao Din’ Boonpattararaksa who graduated from Khon Kaen University while serving his two-year lese majeste conviction in prison for sharing a critical biography of the King produced by the BBC Thai-language service. Pai is facing multiple lese majeste charges and was just released on bail on Friday after spending 47 days in prison. This rendered the current struggle for democracy, and particularly monarchy reform, of a foreign-instigated, if not manipulated, movement. It speaks volume how these conspiracy theorists do not believe that Thais could think for themselves and want to achieve a more equitable society and invalidate them. (The irony is that it was the U.S. which supported Thai military dictators and the revival of the status of Thai monarchy during the Cold War.)... อ่านข่าวต้นฉบับได้ที่ : https://www.khaosodenglish.com/opinion/2021/04/24/opinion-cia-agents-in-thailand-please-raise-your-hand/

Well.... there are many i went to depending on the city where i was at. all the way from Chumphon to Bkk. If I needed to then I would go accordingly to the nearest to where I was. But ultimately, I prefer and did most of my treatments with the specialists in Bkk. My point was that it is common practice to charge the foreigner a much higher price than a Thai. 2 tier pricing is prevalent.

Seems like it to me this past year. I was going to different hospitals every week for over 6 months. So i guess your few times in 30 years made you the expert to contradict what I has posted...
-
Sorry to burst your bubble but, I have health insurance that pays for my medical but does not pay for the evening clinics. The government hospital that i normally go to charged me 400 baht for their evening clinic. But the next day they made me return to pay another 800 baht. Their reason for this was because they charged me the Thai rate by mistake. So it has nothing to do with service, There is a large hike in the costs for both government and private hospitals.

You can say the same for every pardon ever given. They all are a slap in the face of those who worked hard compiling evidence against them to incriminate them and prosecute them. You can also say the same for all those Biden pardoned whose victims of the crimes of those pardoned still haunt them and they still suffer the losses they had. It would also be a slap in the face for every drug user that got caught and went to jail yet Bidens son remains free. Any pardon is a slap in the face for someone.
-
So what is your excuse for the things Biden did? I am also curious as to why you think any person convicted of something makes them love other criminals? Is that what happened to you? He also has the power to pardon himself from any and all crimes past present and future but that has not happened. Seems you may need to rethink your position about this rather than using your hate for him to bias your opinion.

It is.. but Tug and other Trump haters try to make this as something new. They also seem to forget about the attempts of some radicals to enlist Uni students to protest in their behalf. I seem to recall some such instances recently about students doing things on campuses that were above and beyond that of simple free speech protesting. Plus there are multiple studies and cases of students in the US committing types of terrorist acts. But let the hater be. They can not change what has been done. Only complain their discontent for everything.

This report and claims by this man are incorrect. Yes, Trump gave them pardons. But those pardons were carefully scrutinized (as said in other reports) for only non--violent charges relating to Jan 6. No worse than Biden sending out all those pardons for people and family (knowing full well some did criminal actions that would involve Biden and become public) without any care for any violent nature of the crimes they may have committed.

Yes, you began the trolling already. I guess it is to be expected as a harden Trump opposer that everything he does will be commented on by you as bad.

Toxic air crisis: 70 provinces choked by dangerous dust levels
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
This year seems a little worse than previously.. The worst part of the problem is that the Gov makes measures to lower it but they never get implemented. As I passed around Bkk last week there was heavy black smoke from one area and heavy white smoke from another area from deliberate burning that only added to the pollution locally. Yet, as i passed those I never saw one policing agency or fire department or government vehicle there. -

Thaksin blames Prawit for political turmoil amid coup fallout
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Why should he stay quietly at home when all the governmental decisions as the new reports come from him. Even today, 3 articles about what Thaksin says and what will happen. He is literally running the country from behind the PM. The news no longer says anything about how him in a 3rd party sense. He is the one saying things and doing them whereas it should be the PM.
