So what is your excuse for the things Biden did? I am also curious as to why you think any person convicted of something makes them love other criminals? Is that what happened to you? He also has the power to pardon himself from any and all crimes past present and future but that has not happened. Seems you may need to rethink your position about this rather than using your hate for him to bias your opinion.

It is.. but Tug and other Trump haters try to make this as something new. They also seem to forget about the attempts of some radicals to enlist Uni students to protest in their behalf. I seem to recall some such instances recently about students doing things on campuses that were above and beyond that of simple free speech protesting. Plus there are multiple studies and cases of students in the US committing types of terrorist acts. But let the hater be. They can not change what has been done. Only complain their discontent for everything.

This report and claims by this man are incorrect. Yes, Trump gave them pardons. But those pardons were carefully scrutinized (as said in other reports) for only non--violent charges relating to Jan 6. No worse than Biden sending out all those pardons for people and family (knowing full well some did criminal actions that would involve Biden and become public) without any care for any violent nature of the crimes they may have committed.

Yes, you began the trolling already. I guess it is to be expected as a harden Trump opposer that everything he does will be commented on by you as bad.

Toxic air crisis: 70 provinces choked by dangerous dust levels
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
This year seems a little worse than previously.. The worst part of the problem is that the Gov makes measures to lower it but they never get implemented. As I passed around Bkk last week there was heavy black smoke from one area and heavy white smoke from another area from deliberate burning that only added to the pollution locally. Yet, as i passed those I never saw one policing agency or fire department or government vehicle there. -

Thaksin blames Prawit for political turmoil amid coup fallout
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Why should he stay quietly at home when all the governmental decisions as the new reports come from him. Even today, 3 articles about what Thaksin says and what will happen. He is literally running the country from behind the PM. The news no longer says anything about how him in a 3rd party sense. He is the one saying things and doing them whereas it should be the PM. -
Thailand's Visa-Free Policy for Chinese Nationals Faces Scrutiny
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
why were they not thought of before they enacted the free visa? Afterthought makes it too late. Any would-be criminal element would have set up another way to keep coming here once they are inside the country. making free visa pointless to continue doing. Like fake marriage or business. -

because in Thailand a dogs life is more valued than a persons. If a dog bites someone, it is usually released to the owner when possible. If a person bites someone else or attacks them they are imprisoned or worse. If a dog kills someone the dog is usually released to new owner or nothing happens to the dog. If you kill someone well, you know what happens next and freedom is not part of it. -
With only about 8 teeth left in my mouth. I researched the costs for both implants and dentures. 4 implants would not be enough. If you seek implants you may want to look at the prices for implanted dentures rather than teeth. To do my mouth and make a full set of implanted teeth would have cost me over 700,000 baht. For implanted dentures the cost was about 500,000 baht. For normal dentures in both upper and lower jaw with the total amount of teeth being 13 in all. Cost was 17,000 baht. The problem with implants is that there is a waiting period for the skin around the screws implanted to heal before they can attach the teeth. Which could affect your eating habits greatly.

Baht bus brawl: Phuket driver and foreign man row over fare
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
They only say it was an agreed upon price because the driver said so. Since no details were given and it is obvious in the OP that the foreigner did not say anything about that. That its more likely the driver is lying. -
i really do not see what the problem is here. If you look at the sea in pattaya you see all types of trash and things floating in it if you can see past the oil from all the crafts that park overnight. If you swim in it you risk life and health from the raw sewage that regularly gets dumped into it locally. Basically it is a huge toilet to the Thai that live here. Since the city does not want to invest in portable toilets spread around, why dont they just put up some temp walls to hide the foreigners that need to use the sea toilet so the netizens don't get angry. I find it funny anyone would get angry unless they actually were flaunting their small equipment for all to see. I am most certain if it was a Thai needing to pee, they would have done the same. The condo I am staying in currently has a view to the sea and to the street. All night long I see people stopping on the road from their cars to pee on the side of the road. Yet, I do not see any Thai netizens complaining about their own people. Even the other night they had a police checkpoint setup and people were still stopping to pee on the side of the road. The police ignored them because thet were not foreigners. Pathetic with all the money this city has that they do not make public toilets accessible to everyone.

a bank can not make a TIN number application. You must do it. At least as far as I know. -
TIN number and how do I apply for one.

Im sorry... but why would they come to your home to check this? 2 reasons i am asking. 1- they have that information if you are paying already in their computer system. 2. You did not need to pay tax on anything other than income earned in Thailand previously. It only became active in 2025 that you would need to file by Mar. 31 if you have lived here longer than 180 days. So perhaps you are leaving out pertinent information to make such a comment and because of this you may be making some old-timers fearful for knocks on their doors about paying their taxes. -

Am curious. Due to the ever changing policies of immigration. Are you really going to take a chance that next year the immigration will not be looking at your passport for renewal of visa and that they will not ask if you had filed taxes during this year? I do not know if i can trust what a foreigner thinks about this simply because nothing has been shown to learn how they will find the foreigners who had not filed taxes after staying here more than 180 days.... but it would be safe to say that using immigration who would know your stay status seems the most logical way to keep track of you and learn if you filed tax or have a TIN number even. No One really knows what they will or won't do. -

one quick note to everyone. If you ever worked legally in Thailand and had a tax number issued. That number is valid forever in every part of Thailand. I had not seen or used mine from teaching 13 years ago. But it was in their computers in a different province and they let me know the number again just using my name. As for as the tax laws go. Everyone needs to figure out their own situation. DTA and other tax related questions are too generalized to be of use other than the need to file if you are in Thailand more than 6 months a year. Don't let these stories written by tax lawyers scare you to pay for one yourself. They are using your vulnerability to collect money from you and may not be accurate in their versions of OPs here. It is not difficult to get the TIN #. Just bring the documents they ask for to show you are here. Passport and resident letter should be enough i think.. I am not 100% certain if more is required. But i do not think there is a fee to get a TIN #.
