Airline refunded me to much for unused ticket!
steve187 replied to Hummin's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
work out the cost for both sets of flights, and if any is left, refund that amount, ie if they underpaid you for the 1st full fare flight by $100 and they overpaid you $110 for the latest flight then refund them $10 less your admin fee. -

the 800,000 has to be in your bank 2 months prior to the application, and 3 months after the extension is issued, it can then drop to 400,000thb for the remainder of the extension period. if in the 2nd year you want to change to monthly money income, you would have to leave the money in the bank until the new extension 2nd year is issued. this is to satisfy the requirements for the 1st year extension

45 days Visa Exemption
steve187 replied to WalsallRobbo's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
not really the 45 VE entry is due to finish on the 31st march, so any VE entries after that will be 30 days, (unless extended) -
not sure how it feels like that to you, that's a ridiculous suggestion, there are far far cheaper options, you have mocked their efforts relentlessly

that's why they are such bad drivers, and why Thailand has the road death toll it has. the best way would be to find a driving school and get the Thai licence from there, should start with a 2 year licence.

i think you will find that the funds required (800,000thb) for a within country non imm 'O' visa for retirement as part of a conversion process, do have to come from abroad unless the funds have been in your bank account for a long period of time, likewise the 65,000 monthly income does also have to come from abroad, unlike the 40,000thb required for a 'married' yearly extension

could only have been factored into budgets after the referendum, so not really old money, they seem to find new money for all the illegals entering the country. -
The 'End Frozen Pensions' campaign . . .
steve187 replied to TorquayFan's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
when the UK left the EU, pension increases should have stopped for expats living there, but no somehow they the government managed to allow the increases to continue, so if it's a priority or high profile enough it can be done, i wonder how many people benefitted from that change in the rules to allow the uprating. -
sorry to hear that bad news, where exactly were the pains on your right side, on the side or towards the back,
