  1. have you tried pong nam ron, about 20km south, is it because they will not let you return due to too many entries
  2. work out the cost for both sets of flights, and if any is left, refund that amount, ie if they underpaid you for the 1st full fare flight by $100 and they overpaid you $110 for the latest flight then refund them $10 less your admin fee.
  3. you can have the best check there is on a monday and the car then breaks/stops working on the tuesday. murphys law
  4. the 800,000 has to be in your bank 2 months prior to the application, and 3 months after the extension is issued, it can then drop to 400,000thb for the remainder of the extension period. if in the 2nd year you want to change to monthly money income, you would have to leave the money in the bank until the new extension 2nd year is issued. this is to satisfy the requirements for the 1st year extension
  5. xiaomi phones do not have google apps or play store
  6. not really the 45 VE entry is due to finish on the 31st march, so any VE entries after that will be 30 days, (unless extended)
  7. not sure how it feels like that to you, that's a ridiculous suggestion, there are far far cheaper options, you have mocked their efforts relentlessly
  8. that's why they are such bad drivers, and why Thailand has the road death toll it has. the best way would be to find a driving school and get the Thai licence from there, should start with a 2 year licence.

  10. the transcript is from one of the people involved in the conversation
  11. i think you will find that the funds required (800,000thb) for a within country non imm 'O' visa for retirement as part of a conversion process, do have to come from abroad unless the funds have been in your bank account for a long period of time, likewise the 65,000 monthly income does also have to come from abroad, unlike the 40,000thb required for a 'married' yearly extension
  12. maybe because you are using oven chips, because that's the only way chips in an air Fryer will be as good as oil fried chips
  13. you don't seem to have read 'lorry's post, which i have reposted to help
  14. is that a real offence in Thailand, or are you just making it up, robbery seems to fit the facts for me, of just plain theft
  15. misread as state pension instead of private pension, so deleted
  16. could only have been factored into budgets after the referendum, so not really old money, they seem to find new money for all the illegals entering the country.
  17. when the UK left the EU, pension increases should have stopped for expats living there, but no somehow they the government managed to allow the increases to continue, so if it's a priority or high profile enough it can be done, i wonder how many people benefitted from that change in the rules to allow the uprating.
  18. i think you will find all airlines check passports, how else would they know you have one, and that it has 6 months validity left, and that you have permission to entry the country you are travelling too. ie visa.
  19. are both passports in the same name, leave UK on Thai enter Thailand on Thai, leave Thailand on Thai enter UK on UK, use the name on the Thai passport to book tickets, may have to show Uk passport at check in in Thailand
