  1. You are right, I just looked in my passport, the one issued the 18 January 2018 is marked “Used” and the other one was issued 3 November 2017.
  2. Well, they must have made a mistake then, because back in 2017, I got a re-entry permit (single entry) as I was going home with the wife in February and coming back in March. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to go home in November, so before I left, I went to Jomtien Beach Immigration to get another re-entry permit (single entry), which they did give me, so when I came back, I used the number on one re-entry permit to put on my TM-6 and I used the other one for the second trip, no questions asked. Maybe they didn’t notice the original one.
  3. You can book an appointment at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital for 3,800 Bahts, Memorial Hospital in Pattaya for 3,500 Bahts or Chayan Medical clinic in Jomtien, Address: 481/10-11, Thappraya Road, The Hanuman Statue Jomtien, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi 20260, Phone: 038 303 762 for 2,800 Bahts.
  4. I don't understand your problem, I've had 2 Pfizer vaccines back home last year and this January I got a free Pfizer booster shot for free in Nakhon Phanom.
  5. I went to renew my driver's license last week in Nakhon Phanom, 2 trips at the license office, 2 trips at the Immigration office, 1 trip at the doctor's office, 1 zillion photocopies and I have to go one more time at the Immigration office on the 28 January. What a bunch of retards. Last time I only had to pass that stupid light test, watch a ridiculous video, signed some papers and I was on my merry way.
  6. Yes, I will be leaving the country on the 18 April, I normally come here for 5-6 months. It says to notify my address on the 11 April. What if I don’t?
  7. I have done my 90-day report using the new link for the first time. It was due on the 25 January but I did it on the 12 in the morning and I got a Receipt of Notification in the afternoon and it says that I have to notify my address again on the 11 April which is 89 days. Is it normal? If so, I would have waited closer to the 25 January as I am leaving on the 18. Thanks for your help.
  8. It is not the amount, it is the principle. Got it???
  9. Again, thank you very much for your quick response, unfortunately the damage is already done.
  10. Well with my luck, a few years ago I was going to Bangkok from Toronto, Canada via JFK airport, I was only going for 1 month, coming back the first week of September and my passport expired on the 4 December, Air China refused me at the checking-in counter saying that they wouldn't let me in Bangkok, so I had to go back, $ 620.00 USD and one hour flight, I was back in Toronto.
  11. Thank you very much for you quick reply. I just want to try it to find out if it works and how long it will take to get the confirmation.
  12. You probably been asked a zillion times but how many days before can you file your 90-day report? I am registered with the new system. I have never used the old one, I am just curious and to me, if I have a problem I don’t have very far to go, 30kms from Nakhon Phanom.
  13. You get a test 72hrs before departing you own country, unless you have a few day before entering Thailand then it would be required. I had my PCR test at 10.00 am on the 24 October, I left my country at 08.15 pm on the 26 October and arrived at 08.00am on the 28 October in Bangkok, no test in between.
  14. I checked, they are located in Edmonton, it is quite a way from Kingston, On to Edmonton just to get a PCR test. I don't know where I could save money.
  15. I don't know where in Canada you can get a PCR test for 3900thb, I had a test done in Ontario last month and it cost me $ 169.00 + tax and it was the cheapest one that I could fine. If there are something that you know and we don't, please let us know. Cheers.
  16. Well in Canada you cannot talk to anybody or if you send them an e-mail they do not reply. Very frustrating.
  17. Can you please give me the name of the hotel, so I can check it out on Agoda? Thanks for your help.
  18. Thank you very much, I forgot about that one. I checked that one before and they insured up to 99 years old and a good price. Thanks for refreshing my memory.
  19. Covid 19 basically started in 2020, in my country Canada, I don't know any insurance companies that will insure you for Covid 19 only, they all want your money. The reason they want every body insured is because to many people get into accidents or conditions and they cannot pick up the tab. Am I wrong? Thanks for your always valuable input.
