Our condo has 14 days rule and it's enforced by 1000 baht fine for each day afterwards. It's been there since day 1. There's shortage of parking spaces (I think it's 30 or 40% of the number of units) so most support regulation, except those who bought car and just left it in parking lot. Seen a couple locked so far, with visible layer of dust on them. Some take a drive around the parking building to stamp out and in and can stay another 2 weeks. But others, for example when going somewhere for a long holiday, inform juristic office to get a waiver for the time away. 7 days is rather short though.

Over 3k/month but includes mobile SIM with unlimited 5G data and 2.5/2.5 Gbps fiber line. I have it for the internet, not really for TV. So for me, it's a terrible value, just too lazy to drag myself to True shop and unsubscribe.

I have TrueVisions Platinum with their fiber internet, which is full of sports while the rest is slowly disappearing. If they continue this way, they could well rename it into SportVisions. No, not sports fan, so nearly nothing left to watch. But you might be happy with it. And no fiddling with any Android boxes, VPNs, etc.

Apologies, I use a Thai issued credit card, so I wasn't aware. However I do receive paper bills from MEA which have QR code, and I assume (never tried) my mobile banking app could make a payment by scanning that code. There is another app from EGAT that our condo has in the apps list but when I originally opened it, the juristic officer suggested me MEA app as that one was impossible to use. I checked just now and they have replaced it with MEA Smart Life. I also see that AIS application has an option to pay for utilities and then get billed in monthly phone bill. Tried to add my account to app and it seems to work but I already paid the bill for last month so can't really test it now. It does not show any balance. Just allows to make payment. Maybe someone else is using it and can give better information. I'm just searching for possible alternatives that might work for you.

This forum would empty up very quickly if the 600% increase applied to everything to do with permissions of stay. Like... 800k increasing by 600% to 5.2 million in the bank. The agent visa fee going from 20k to 140k per year. Permanent residence from 200k to 1.4 milion. Elite visa from .... I guess that would not have any effect on you.

Except the one in Haneda which only accepts cash, where all exchanges around only sell foreign currencies but not Yen, so for transit passengers, Family Mart kiosks right in front of their shop take away 90% of all their customers...

If you go to Penang, Malaysia, and compare the tourists there versus tourists in Thailand, based on their behaviour, I definitely believe Thailand should be more selective on who they let in, and focus on quality rather than quantity. Quality tourists might actually be discouraged from visiting, when the entire <deleted> of the Universe is let in.

They still have their shop in Soi Lat Phrao 122 / Ramkhamhaeng 65. They opened MBK branch years ago.

#1 I received my refund as a cheque by post on February 15, 2024. After seeing your post earlier I actually expected I'd have to open KrungThai account and had all documentation ready... opened mailbox, and there was an envelope with a CHEQUE in it. #3 I just did the opposite of that. How do you explain that?
