  1. I used to take bus to Südbahnhof and then take train to Klagenfurt but... it takes some time, and stops very short time at each stop, maybe 2 minutes. Stopped taking them after tiring flight landing in the evening, in stroke of bad luck my train was from TrenItalia, which departed nearly 3 hours late. Fell asleep on the train and woke up in Villach... middle of the night... in December. At least on the plane someone wakes you up when you arrive. And that plane's actually nice now... after always broken Dash8 got replaced with a modern jet. Buying the VIE-KLU flight separately added nearly 20k baht to my flights with other airlines, so I've switched to Austrian since overall it was a lot faster and ended up cheaper. Depart 11.30 pm or so, arrive Vienna 5-6 am, depending on season, 3 hours later in another plane, and by 10.30 am at Klagenfurt. On return 6.30 or so pm plane to Vienna, 11.30 or so to Bangkok to arrive about 2:30 pm the next day. Convenient. Despite being packed like sardines, and all that Do&Co culinary delights gone, and food only eaten because you can't order anything else at 35k ft...
  2. I was usually continuing to KLU, so I took Austrian most of the time, but their price was higher than this a few months back, about 50k on promo, about 70k normally. Used to be about 35-40k before COVID.
  3. Let me add something to that full article - and the flight bought with miles, as the OP mentioned... I did the same - miles were expiring so what the heck, let's use them. Surcharges were more expensive than Air Asia's entire ticket price, yes, but at least time of flight was great, and would maximize the time there. Fast forward 2 months from booking and I've received SMS from THAI, telling me that morning flight has been rescheduled to evening and I'll arrive to Singapore at 8 pm. THANK YOU, THAI. I think I'll let the rest of miles lapse from now on, as it's just not worth it.
  4. Just for the record - I didn't intend to get infected. In fact, I was avoiding it quite successfully for 3 years. But now that I had it, I hope at least it provides some protection for some months to come. If I had a choice, i would have chosen not to get it. But now that I already did... I'll take that as a "booster", hopefully.
  5. I'm aware, obviously, but vaccine mimics the real virus infection, right? So if I got actual virus, that should be same or better than getting a vaccine, wouldn't it?
  6. Where were you on 19 and 20 Jan? Can anyone confirm your whereabouts? You're defending suicide theory too hard. Time for police to give you a visit...
  7. Had 2x AZ+1x Pfizer. But that was a long while back... Checking vaccine certificate: AZ (A1016)- 29 July 2021 AZ (A10061) - 21 October 2021 Comirnaty (FN7874) - Pfizer - 9 February 2022 This is my first time catching COVID.
  8. Some people get away with it easily and some others, not so much. I've managed to avoid it for 3 years but... seems you can run but you can't hide, and despite all precautions... I've still got 2 lines on the test for a week now, and it's not been a walk in a park. 40.5C fever, severely sore throat, running nose and sneezing, possibly reason for some of the worst headache/migraine I've ever had, aching all over the body, loss of taste and smell and totally exhausted the whole time. A couple of days into it, phlegm, cough, discomfort moving to lungs and having difficulty breathing at times. So while still having symptoms and 2 lines on the test - anyone above saying it's innocent cold - let's meet up in a small, poorly ventilated place, with no masks on. Come on, don't chicken out now.
  9. Wonder if sick man at Police hospital has any shares of TV station he started...
  10. In worst case immigration office could reject your entry, so have this corrected before you board the plane. You'll get a big VOID stamp over visa and then issued another one (if stickers). Don't know about Thailand, but Schengen embassies usually put a note in passport that it is your task to check correctness of all data on the sticker and to contact them immediately if there are any mistakes found.
  11. Wasn't much of an expert in anything it seems. He could just bake or burn it, certainly not melt it...
  12. I still think Tesla would sell more cars and probably have better reputation, if Elon wasn't associated with it. A divisive figure so closely associated with a brand can't be good for their business.
  13. Lite Beer was quite direct: 1) When you get new passport in Thailand, you can go to immigration office that issued visa and have it transferred (what's left of it) to the new passport. But at the time you get new passport, your old one with visa will be vioded and hence no longer usable as you'll be stamped out on new passport. If you got your passport in Australia, then came back with both of them, you could show both passports to immigration at the airport, and they would stamp you in on old visa rules but stamp new passport. You'd then be able to transfer visa later. But with passport issued in Thailand, you can transfer it before. Then when you're back in April, request an annual extension on new passport. 2) No, but if you transfer visa to new passport, you can request a new 12 months extension. If you lost visa altogether, you'd need to start from scratch. 3) Yes, you could, but only if you did not get new passport yet, and from above I believe you would get a new one before that, which means that passport would be invalidated. Read point 1 above.
  14. There's also Diovan from Novartis. You can buy it at any Watson's, Boots, Fascino pharmacy, or if you want it cheaper, at Diamond pharmacy next to Sirirat hospital entrance. Don't know about Thai generic versions.
  15. Someone just prevented "Democracy" being brought to Thailand in exchange for Lithium?
  16. True, that. But we're in jokes section, so technicalities are often ignored :)
