  1. For smoking in a no-smoke area and showing his entitlement to smoke wherever he wants, even it's next to a gas tank. I don't care if he was smoking in a methane tank, as long as he's alone and not causing trouble or putting others at risk. Or at least, if warned of it, apologise and stop. But a self-entitled idiot who cites his freedom to put others in danger deserves whatever comes to him. I used to live in Pratunam and 2 such Darwin award winners got the gas tanks to ignite and burn half the market down, injuring several innocent people that were in the wrong place at the wrong time. So if it's only his face burned off to avoid hurting others - let him have it.
  2. This is not accurate. There are 2 words missing right at the end: "right now". It's "I'm literally shaking right now."
  3. Should she instead unplugged the gas cylinder and pointed gas at his face instead?
  4. Status at Nonthaburi pier right now:
  5. Trump works at McDonald's for 1 day... 1 day! And see what happens... McDonald’s tries to reassure customers after deadly E. coli outbreak https://apnews.com/article/mcdonalds-e-coli-outbreak-sick-onions-d4a37726f2669016decedcf9f928a9d9
  6. I can tell! It's all in red today!
  7. This man will now be even in a bigger emotional distress owing 2.5 million baht to owners of cars he gutted...
  8. Possibly dozed off or got distracted, but in positive news, gas tanks didn't cause fire...
  9. Was just dialing X.com and Truth Social to complain over bias towards Trump. But then remembered who owns them... But seriously - Trump is in the news 24/7 all over the Globe. I am confident if you picked random 1000 individuals spread all around the World, they'd all recognise Donald, but some might have a challenge with the photo of Kamala...
  10. The integrity and quality of the US presidential candidates and their families is mind shattering...
  11. Company is literally called I-CON, and has car with plate 555 and people still don't get it?
  12. I think they should have 24/7 broadcast of them like Big Brother for a month before elections - live, unedited, both of them. Darn... that would make it the lowest voter turnout in history...
  13. Why would EU laws apply in Thailand? Anyway, our condo just announced new rules that were agreed on a couple of months ago. You can see some additional requirements for foreigners, which force (rightfully) the owner of the unit to deal with immigration. Had I been renting out, I'd certainly want to avoid that hassle and would not consider foreigner as a tenant. On the "plus" side - the part of reporting unregistered tenants to police for trespassing has now been removed, and replaced with blanket "Prohibition of Short-term Rentals" part. Our condo enforces the rules far more stringently than our neighbours. That's how they enforce "No pet" policy... Meow...
  14. True. Here it's mostly B737 and A320, relatively small planes. Would be very different with a massive 4 engine can flying by.
  15. No worry. He'll launch some golden underwear with TRUMP printed on it. Only 100k$ a piece. Designed by Melania.
  16. I have planes flying past my window (DMK, not BKK) but I don't hear them. So it's definitely possible to sound proof the unit not to hear them. Obviously it's an extra expense to use double glazed windows, but it'll help with aircon bills as well. Maybe you could try that first, unless the whole building is shaking when planes fly by?
  17. Nok is still flying, just not to Buriram. I see their planes zip past my window many times every day, with the very recognizable design. Flew with them domestic, and planes were hit and miss, some looked like new, others really needed new seats (though leg space is way larger in Nok than it is with Air Asia, and I believe same or more than Thai planes used for domestic routes). But as they have a Boeing 737 fleet, I'm less inclined to choose them than those using Airbus A320, like Thai or Air Asia.
  18. Possible. I wonder how much you'll like your manual bicycle that replaces it...
  19. Not sure "Wanted DEAD or Alive" would help in recovering their losses...
  20. Most? What about the rest?
  21. This one reminds me... Back in the day, maybe 25 years ago, I was sitting at a certain Mall.... waiting for my pizza for way over an hour. Pulled out the mobile phone I just bought and called the delivery number of the restaurant, then ordered same pizza. At the end I told them I wasn't home but need to send it to a different address... their shop at the Mall, complete with table number. I got a "could you please wait a moment"... phone rang in the kitchen... a head popped out of the kitchen looking at me for a moment, then ran back in, and phone operator said pizza will be with me within 10 minutes. It was. Along with manager's apology, and bill waived. Not sure it was worth a wait but it was surely memorable moment...
  22. When you brought up Y2K... some operating systems were having a challenge on 1/1/2000 but I think old Unix based systems were having the same on 19 Jan 2038?
