  1. Just read an article, but it's not in English... that F35 that Danish Air Forces have is remotely accessible by US military, and has a "kill switch", so not only can US track position of each F35 but they can also remotely shut them off in case there ever was a conflict between the 2 nations. Apparently only UK and Israel have limited access to source code to manage their fleets in "limited autonomy". Wild times. Trying to find English article on the same in Google... https://militarywatchmagazine.com/article/how-america-turnoff-denmark-f35-greenland This was the first hit and quickly scanning through it, seems to cover same topic of the systems, etc.
  2. What is there to consider in independence? Do it already!
  3. There should be an award for photographer who snapped that first photo... I wouldn't dare
  4. Don't even think it really matters where the PT bars were from. When someone decides to use half of what's needed, even the best materials will be challenged. Inadequate training of operators, lacking oversight, no understanding of limits of equipment and little or no adherence to safety standards is what caused this. The rest are just unfortunate elements that put it in motion.
  5. Tried to discredit source:
  6. Never used them, but Aramex had a board offering this service of shipping from anywhere to anywhere for "a reasonable fee". Was there for something else and this was displayed in their office. Don't know how they compete on prices. But there is also a community of Thais in US who use tourist express service... Basically when someone needs something from Thailand, they would reach to family and friends of community there who live in Thailand, to bring (sometimes buy) things over at a fixed fee per kg. If nothing like this exists among US expats here, maybe you could set up such a scheme yourself?
  7. I usually liked your jokes, Tuna, but now it's the same thing over and over again. And it's not even funny. Many people are obsessed with Trump, but your obsession with Biden is equally worrying, especially since Biden is no longer a president. This whataboutism doesn't really have a place in jokes section. But if you have anything FUNNY about Biden, or whoever else, it will likely be appreciated... unless it's posted for the 65323rd time...
  8. Receiving a medical degree someone else earned does not make you a brain surgeon. Taking someone else's pilot's license doesn't make you a commercial pilot either. Would you risk brain surgery with a fake surgeon? Or take a flight with a fake pilot? And so starting wars and receiving Nobel peace prize from a woman who had it awarded doesn't make you a peacemaker either, especially considering track record of stopping 0 wars and starting 2 new ones with 3rd threatened.
  9. Just thinking... This Rama 2 road needs its own disaster section on AN forum. Sure to have more articles than some middle of nowhere news sections...
  10. The land of SRT is being used for both, the regular train tracks at ground level, and the elevated train above it. The Red line in Bangkok and Airport link are both built the same way. To stop trains while construction is taking place would mean stopping nearly if not all rail services during years of construction. Maybe not hard to do, but terribly impractical.
  11. There isn't overly high proficiency of Thai comprehension in the Philippines either....
  12. Since when does honking carry death penalty without trial? Maybe there should be death penalty for people posting garbage on this forum...
  13. Since it's 20 dogs and just one of you, the most economical solution would be to blow your ear drums. Just one thing to do, and once completed, it won't matter how much they bark anymore as you won't hear them, and as an added plus, you won't hear any other noise either. Follow me for more health advice!
  14. I did not expect this day to ever come. As for the road width, that was to accommodate fire trucks capable of reaching high floors in case of fire. Ruamrudee is too narrow for such a truck, so if there was a fire at this building, there would potentially be a lot of casualties since the guests could not be reached. The other buildings are on the other side of the road so they have access from Wireless road, but this one doesn't. Widening that road to accommodate such trucks would be possible, by demolishing other, smaller buildings, which are legally built.
  15. Can only tell you don't know me at all. But, each to their own. Make sure to have different SIM cards in your phone (in case any has no signal) and carry always charged powerbank in case you run out of juice when you need to pay.
  16. I really don't understand why people put money in mobile plans, like AIS, True and others, when they everywhere can use free Wi-Fi from local temple. Did we really get to the point of discussing how much monthly interest you might get on a few 100 THB from a savings account in a Thai bank?

Here are some updated photos from the inside... though photographers offering photos for 100 baht everywhere were truly annoying...

    That Phanom?
  19. That was posted by the wife of Trump's advisor...
  20. https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/4399706-trump-jeffrey-epstein-never-on-plane-island/mlite/ I'm trying to find the actual video of Donald saying he never flew on Epstein's plane and never visited his island... So you're saying he wasn't telling the truth? Shocking! Shocking, I tell ya....
